  1. I keep thinking about grabbing one of these - is there any trade off at all to be aware of?
  2. Price: $13,000 Includes: Steadyrig telescoping post Steadyrig top and bottom Electronics - same as PRO Steadyrig battery hanger - AB mount MK-V 1.5" gimbal Betz top stage (like new) w/ dovetail and rods Arri Alexa power cable Red Epic/scarlet/weapon power cable 2x jerry hill docking rings This sled was upgraded to HD. If you want I have a monitor and arm for it but I may hold onto them as a backup. I would consider selling the gimbal or the Betz top stage separately. Make me an offer. Extras: $1000 - 2x - Jerry Hill Docking Brackets one with balance pin - one for a cart $2500 - analog Bartech $2750 - Walter Klassen Flex vest fit for a 32" waist
  3. Business as usual for him. He had my motor for over two months, and ultimately it wasn't fixed. I ended up sending it to Peter Hoare - he fixes and returns them from the UK in less than 2 weeks! pete@hocusproducts.com Let me know if you need an M-One in the mean time, mine is available for as long as you need it -
  4. Where will you be? I recently traveled to Brazil through São Paulo, just for vacation but customs was pretty serious and I wouldn't plan on just slipping through without having everything lined up perfectly. Including the proper visa. I was carrying some photo gear and they sat me aside to go over everything and what my purpose was in the country and only let me through once I could back up my story with documentation of my trip into the pantanal. Once you're there be extra cognizant of your surroundings. Crime is high and having your possessions stolen is a very serious possibility. Assuming you will have brazilian contacts and someone traveling with you there you should have enough hands and eyes to be good. And of course do your best to learn some common phrases - people appreciate the effort. Good luck, and have fun if you go!
  5. I've had vertical lines appear on a Marshal monitor when the HD-SDI signal had become weak because of what was likely a loose connection that eventually lead to no signal at all. I'd start by connecting the monitor to an HD-SDI line directly to the source and bypassing your sled to see if it is the monitor or a weak signal somewhere within your sled's connections.
  6. Both units I've used drain the batteries when it's turned off. Using lithium ion rechargeable that seem to last almost a full day.
  7. Still available if anyone wants to add a set of these to your cart.
  8. Still available - I'd love to sell it this week if anyone was thinking about making a move on it.
  9. Teradek Bolt TX + 2 RX - $2400 Located in Brooklyn - willing to ship at your convenience. Includes (3) P-Tap cables, (2)AC Power cables and 3 mounting bolts. Running flawlessly on the latest firmware. The receiver on the left is the newer design. I've upgraded to the Bolt600 and don't have a need for two systems.
  10. Mike - I'd keep the UPM and DP close and check-in after week two or three... see how happy they really are with the performance of everything. I'm not saying they will absolutely be unhappy - I've replaced a Movi on a feature before because eventually the frustrations out-weigh the cost-savings.
  11. Iain - with the most current firmware it auto-records with SDI trigger on the Alexa and C300/C500 but I don't believe it works on the Epic yet - I could be wrong though as I haven't had a chance to test it with an Epic. I just found this chart regarding compression and recording time. You can create a custom compression file on your computer to load on to the Starlite if you want less compression. The default is fully compressed at '23' and allows for a 44min long take. If you change it here's how that will reflect in your recording time. I'm assuming this follows the 4GB file size limitation.
  12. $1900 located in Brooklyn Includes the reciever mount. Very minor wear - the only thing to note is there is a slight bend in the side to side knob that you can feel as you turn it but it does not impede its functionality. Mounting screws included.
  13. I simply just don't use them now. They are a really great system.
  14. (6) V-Mount PAG-Link Batteries + 2 Travel Chargers = $2000 Located in Brooklyn These are awesome travel batteries and make for an incredibly compact kit. With the two chargers you can piggy-back like in the photo and have all six charging overnight without having to worry about waking up and switching or leaving the hotel in the morning without having something charged. I'm only selling because I switched everything in my kit to GoldMount. Batteries are 2 years old and have been very lightly used over that time, on average once or twice a month.
  15. I ended up with two sets of these for my cart and I've decided I really don't need them. Never been opened - $130 new - selling for $90 each pair.
