  1. This one is available. Complete kit. http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=20164
  2. Still available. Great rig needs a good home. John
  3. Pending sale fell through. Still available. John
  4. We opted for a small 5'X8' trailer. Gives us a place to work out as well as haul gear. We use a Honda Pilot to pull it. Room for 4 plus luggage and all the gear in the trailer. However, me and my AC can go in just the pilot if we are just taking the rig and accessories. Six of the 1650 type cases and a TufPak stand for the stands. We don't take a cart in those situations, but we do take a collapsable dolly. We are going to be adding the Inovativ Scout cart, as it packs down so tight and will then fit in the Pilot as well. John
  5. Mine are the emulators from the camera manufacturer. I send them to Terry and he puts a cable and 3 pin lemo on them. They look just like the camera battery, just have a cable coming out. He also makes sure the voltage is right when he builds them and puts in any regulators that need to be put in place. John
  6. I have a Terry West J Box that I power off of one. It usually runs the Decimator, Paralinx and an HDMI to SDI converter if need with smaller cameras. Our Paralinx is on a 2 pin lemo on that J box though and the Parlinx USB to Lemo are 2 pin cables so nobody lets the white smoke out of the Paralinx by accident. We also power smaller cameras off of that port with Terry West cables. For 5D and a Panasonic camera we use a lot we have battery emulators to that connector. For BlackMagic we have a cable with that end as well. Also power the teleprompter monitor off of it via 3 pin to 4 pin XLR. John
  7. Ours arrived the other day. It is great. We got the 14" version and like it a lot. John
  8. I have a Transvideo 8" on our Pro CIneLive. The real estate is great. We currently haven't run into a situation where we didn't have the room to maneuver with it. Do we wish we would have purchased something smaller, yes and no. The trade off in size and weight is worth it most of the time. Will we be purchasing a 6" version? Most likely yes, just to be able to get into tighter places. Can't say enough good about Transvideo though regardless of the size you choose. We like the Horizon2, it has every feature you could ever want in a monitor and I think it will even make a latte if you push the right button combination while standing on your head in low mode. Most of our work is inside so I don't have a lot of wind experience. John
  9. It shouldn't be an expensive cable. Let me know what it finally shows up, we are waiting to order our fiber jumper to get them as a set from Suzanne. Just wanted to see how thin they got it before we did. Thanks for the update! John
  10. Mike, Your triax cable come in yet? John
  11. I will be there from Tuesday on. John
  12. I am on an event that uses the LINK box. There are 10 RF cameras using the system over an area roughly the size of a golf course. The company that provides the system does a great job. Rarely do we see a break up. It works like cellular towers. The signal just gets passed off. I believe John Perry and other operators use this system on a smaller scale. The box is only about 1.5 lbs in weight and offers telemetry as well. Here is a couple of links to companies that offer the system for rental. It typically has a tech attached to it on a short term rental. http://www.aerialvideo.com http://www.broadcastsportsinc.com John
  13. Yeah, we ended up getting things in to the one we had. Just didn't want to mash things too much. John
