for those who didn't know yet ... a bit of HISTORY ... These cameras are rare units in the world. When Gabriel Fitz Bauer - inventor of all Moviecam cameras - was hired by the ARRI Group to design the ARRICAM (studio and Lite), it was part of his contract to have the option to UPDATE his Compact and his SL with newer technologies he'd bring into the Arricam concept. So did he manufacture the ARRICAM and then started the upgrade of his COMPACT camera, renamed Mark 2 and using the ARRICAM STUDIO viewfinder and video assist. he sold a few hundreds of these upgrades Years later he moved to his great SL camera and made this SL Mark 2 using the ARRICAM LITE viewfinder, and the 325 IVS video assist because he wanted to keep the transportation handle and also (and utmost) the top (studio) mount of his Compact Line magazines (500' and 1000'), so he couldn't use the arricam original IVS which was "in the way". He upgrades a few dozens of those only, and they mostly ent to the USA wxhere the original SL was very popular. Electronics are the same as for the ARRICAM with the same concept to detach the Speed Box and use it remotely (wired) Film transportation is the world famous dual link compensating system, which made MOVIECAM very famous (and so quieter) than original ARRI movements... This dual link system was even bought by ARRI to use it into the 535A and 535B's years before Gabriel Fitz Bauer joigned ARRI and sold Moviecam to ARRI Group
