Hi Adam,
I can only speak for the Zoe III (www.bebob.de/international/zoe-III_eng.html). It has a little screw you can twist in case of lens drift. You just turn it until the zooming stops. I've used mine with plenty of Canon lenses and it performed great with all of them.
Cheers,

Hi Robert,
would you care to post or email the diagram, as I also seem to have some creaks from time to time.
Thanks in advance,
Sven

I'm guessing because it's searching for keywords. Can anyone think of a name for that section without using the words "Legal" or "Business"? Could it be that easy?
How about "Stuff we all have to deal with, but actually rather wouldn't"?

The intro text of the demo says he's from GERMNAY... Which continent is that in?

Hi Chris,
(how are you?)
I know Jo Vermaercke has one, and he's very pleased with it. He's in Ghent, Belgium. Mail me off forum, I can give you his contact details.
He works in Holland quite often.

JP,
12:30 it is. I'll be wearing a red rose on my vest and a newspaper under my right arm...
Anyone wants to join in?
Thomas,
I'll definitely be stopping by the MK-V booth.

Change of plans, I'll be there Monday 11th.
Lunch, JP?

There were already some hints about the IBC in other threads, so I thought I'd start a dedicated topic:
Who will be at the IBC and when?
I'll be there Friday.
See you then.

Over here (Europe) watching music videos is just impossible with all the crap the networks are superimposing over the actual image. Network logo in the upper corner, program title scrolling underneath that and a 'king size' lower third filled with SMS games, chats etc... So no matter how interesting, well found or refreshing a video is, you just can't see it underneath all that crap.

What can I say...
Put me on the list, Rob.
Delivery by the end of the month will do just fine... B)

And one for me as well, please Rob, if it can hold a DVX-100...
Thanks,

Hi Paul,
Maybe this link will get you somewhere, they make special 7.2V solutions for V-Mount/NP-1 batteries powering smaller cameras. Hope this helps.

Hi all,
I ran into the referee at a football match last week. Walking backwards in front of the players as they exited the tunnel, the ref starts the line-up behind me and I just keep walking (straight into him). After the game he comes up to me and actually apologizes for not putting the line-up far enough onto the pitch... Good chap... :)

wear a bicycle helmet and fasten the receiver to the top. could probably build the headphones into it, patent it and make some dough .
Hey Matt,
Is that the prototype you're wearing in your Avatar picture? ;)

Hey Brian,
I do soccer matches with the Klassen vest, and attach the intercom to the strap thingy (I believe they're called lanyards?) you put passes and stuff on. Get a wide model, they don't cut into your neck as much.
Cheers,

Hi all,
Another company that showed a WiFi-video link at IBC was IDX (yes, the battery-people). It's called WEVI. The transmitter has a V-mount, so it sits nicely between the camera and the battery. Tried WEVI home page, just states addresses... At IBC they told me the price would be somewhere around ?1800 for a transmitter/receiver set.
Hope this helps!
Take care,
Sven

Hi,
I think that's right, Walter's vest has a socket block for the larger type arms, and I don't think you can replace it with a smaller one...
I met Walter earlier this week at IBC, and I must say he made a strong impression on me. He gave me a full and very comprehensive explanation of his design, as well as a hands on test of it. The vest felt incredible! He measured me right away, so if I ever wanted to order a vest (which I'm very likely to do... ;) ), he could make it right away, without me having to go over to his shop. (great service even before you're a customer!)
Best,
