  1. It's Still Available Don't need an arm? Tell your friends! In fact, here's a crazy offer. If you recommend a buyer, and they buy it, I'll give you $100. Fine Print: -You can't recommend yourself -First come first serve (if 4 people recommend 1 person) -Offer expires July 4 -email me with questions
  2. I for one, welcome any hair I can get ahold of, cross or otherwise.
  3. Actually Imran has a second head at the end of an exceptionally long stalk protruding from his right armpit. So his birth was also exceptional as it took multiple days. Hence the confusion. It's not something that he usually talks about, but you can ask him about it if you want. I hear it can have it's advantages in "Don Juan" *giggles* Happy birthdays Imrans.
  4. There has been a lot of sunlight over here in Tennessee. Maybe that has something to do with the delay. Also the grass in my yard seems to be growing faster than last year. That's always an unexpected problem.
  5. $5,700 plus shipping. Make me an offer please. (...we .. uh...well we need to re-roof our house. ) This is an EFP arm with Blue Springs. It was recently cleaned and lubed, and works smoothly. The SN is #504. I am the second owner, it was purchased new. It has Blue Springs I have more photos at this link. ? Arm comes with canvas bag ? International buyers are fine ? Local buyers are fine too ? I'm open to offers ? Ask me questions A photo
  6. Sounds reasonable. I knew I had to get the voltage reducer, which I'm ok with. But I guess I don't need the DA. Thanks Afton and Eric hope things are great. Bryan
  7. Hi fellas, I'm making this Archos cable up for my EFP. I'm wondering if I need the DA, or if I can make the cable with 2 heads, and plug it right into the 12v, and the Video out on the bottom of the sled. (I haven't thought yet how to get signal to the Cinemon3. I'm already using the multi plug for power/video from the sled) I'd love to save the money for the DA, but if not having it is going to make the video all janky, then I'll have to get it. Thanks
  8. Richard, Hey thanks for the help. I think got things worked out. I had the bushings in backwords, and when I was moving them, I chipped off one of the edges... not all of it .. just a little. I installed it anyway. I'm back. Ed, no fear. I had a tiny post, and needed a bigger one. That was the main reason for the change. I didn't even know about a recall.
  9. Anyone have any insight on this? I'd like to get my arm back together. Tiffen seems to be all at NAB... i guess. *shrugs* =)
  10. Still available. It's getting lonely just sitting around. $5,900 OBO
  11. Richard, Hey thanks, That helped a lot. And so speedy! =) I was all on track until I was putting the washer bearings back in. They were to large to fit. And the washers were as well. here's a photo...or 3 And the package the washers were in. Any thoughts?
  12. I got a replacement post kit package thingy from Tiffen. But no instructions on how to make the swap. Which leads me to reason that if I, cannot reverse engineer the solution, I should re-think my career as a reverse engineer. But I digress... Can anyone help? I'm off to town, be back later. And by post, I mean what the gimbal fits on.. you know.. the boy bits of the gimbal/arm marriage
  13. Hey Philip, I'll answer for Ed, so that he can correct me later. =) The hard drive is the Red drive, it's 320gb in a RAID 0 config, (for me) it's in the 22-27lb range. In his photo he has a battery, (it's on top of the drive on the top) RED doesn't have a downconverter built in, but he's got the LCD on the rods, up front so he can see it. Ed, (or others) correct me if i'm wrong. happy flyin' love, Bryan' *he he, I rhymed*
  14. Jess, when you get back PM or email me about them. I might need them as well. thanks Bryan
  15. Price Drop: Asking $5950 USD And here is a direct photo. Still more photos at my site.
  16. UPDATE ? Arm comes with canvas bag ? International buyers are fine ? Local buyers are fine too ? I'm open to offers
  17. $6,500 plus shipping. obo This is an EFP arm with Blue Springs. It was recently cleaned and lubed, and works smoothly. The SN is #504. I am the second owner, it was purchased new. you can see photos HERE Email me with any questions. Oh...almost forgot. I'm willing to trade for a Ultra2 :P
  18. My arm, and other parts have some of the black anodizing that has worn off. Aside from a Sharpie, is there any other alternative I have to touch up the worn parts? Thanks Bryan
  19. I got the Husky (brand name not pants size) version through Home Depot. Same #7, but not from Sears. I bought two as well, and put my name on it. Like that will help it stay put. ... maybe... Bryan
  20. I just got a Merlin (thanks Tiffen, it's cool) It's great so far. But, i'm having problems with trim. I have a Panny SD-5 and it weighs about the same as two june bugs humping. (that's 340grams or .75 lbs) I'm 99% sure my drop time is about a second, as shown in the cool DVD with GB and Svenson. My problem is when I trim fore/aft, the side to side changes. And the same with side to side, it adjusts fore / aft. The Camera is not crooked on the plate. Anyone have ideas? I know most of you have big rigs, but some of you I know have the merlin. 21. Rob, Yep, EFP. I have a set of Mini Kinos. I'm planning on putting the plugs inline after the transformer so I can unplug them from the Kino transformer, and plug the ballast directly to the rig for some eyelight. I got the Kinos from another PRO operator, and he has the PRO plugs inline to do the same thing. I'm just replacing the PRO with "EFP" plugs. Any thoughts? I didn't think until just now that the rig might not be able to handle it. Nick: Thanks for the lead. I'll call them once CA wakes up.
  22. Sheesh, what would my parents think if they caught wind that I am looking for a couple of hermaphrodites on the internet. Hey thanks for the info Jim, I was just preparing to email you. You beat me to the punch. Thanks tons.
  23. Me again folks. No joy from Terry, all that he has are spoken for. Nice guy though. So I'm still looking for either used plugs, or even the part number so I can order them directly. Anyone know the part number? I think the plug that I need has a NRO on it.. not Lemo, although I'm pretty sure Lemo makes them too. Thanks
