  1. Hi all, I just updated a Betz Rig with a Volt System. I ordered only the Steadicam M1 docking fork with it, because it connects with the my beloved Jerry Hill Docking Bracket. But after the first couple of days with my this new docking system I am not entirely happy yet. The Volt-fork fits the body of the Hill bracket well. But since the collar of the plastic inlay of the Volt-fork is rather high, I can´t pull the balancing rod over the fork anymore. I would like to mill out the plastic collar/insert of the bracket, so the balancing rod of the Hill bracket can slide over the fork again. Not sure if the plastic inlay would survive the surgery... Is anyone using the same fork/bracket combination? Anyone done anything similar yet?
  2. Hey Alan, did you find anything yet? I am dreaming of the same thing...Light up the bubble on the back of the Betz... ;-)

  9. Hi Chris, I had a chance to try it out at a trade show in Munich in February. It is very smooth booming and had a very good response. But I did not like the concept of their exchangeable spring system so much. Its a bit awkward to exchange these "springs" ( I think they are made from rubber). The weight ranges of these spring sets are rather narrow. So one probably has to deal with the changing procedure quite often. All in all its likely going to hit the market, especially for its rather competitive pricing. Best wishes Tom
  10. I am selling my modified Hyperdeck Shuttle 2. This version records uncompressed, DNxHD, and ProRes. The modifications are: - Standard size BNC-connectors for HDSDI In and Out, rewired to the board at ARRI in Munich. - "Power in" modified to Lemo 2-pin connector - AB Gold Mount plates on top and bottom of the Hyperdeck. - Power input selector switch This Hyperdeck can be powered in two ways, selectable via the power selector switch next to the BNC-connectors: 1. from your sled/ camera via its 2-pin Lemo socket. 2. by an AB battery attached to the female AB Gold Mount Adapter. At the same time an AB battery attached to the female AB Gold Mount Adapter will feed power directly through to the male AB Gold Mount Adapter. This means you can "sandwich" the Hyperdeck in between a battery and your sled/camera. Can also be used to convert from HDSDI to HDMI and vice versa ! Comes with the 256 GB Samsung SSD and SSD to 2x USB adapter cable. Works great. Asking USD $ 850 OBO Buyer pays shipping. Item located in Europe. Fly safe! T.
