  1. Look - let's not kid each other. You have a PRO rig. When you bought it, you got the old monitor mount. Nobody blames you for that. But we all learn. And grow. And you got a better mount eventually. Why wouldn't you? Damn straight. So there it sits, in your pile of old parts. Sure, you can kid yourself that you might need it someday, but we both know you won't. So why not make a few bucks and sell it to me? Take that money and get yourself something special. You deserve it. Yeah you do. C'mon - let's make this happen. For us.

  2. Selling my Act2 Vest - a year and a half old, in great condition. This is one of the most adjustable, customizable vests available. Comes with the larger back section, two attachable pockets (great for comtex or a walkie when you have to wear one), and a carry bag. Also, has Velcro professionally sewn in on the back panel.

    Paid $4200

    Asking $2900 + shipping

  3. Phil -

I was working last night with it, shooting wide open, and could see clear as a bell. Gaffer said levels were about 1 - 1.4 @ 1280 ASA.Can't load a LUT on it, just the standard image controls in the menus.

    Cheers,

  4. Hey Gary (and others with the BVB07) -

I recently had a cable made to power my BVB07 from my CineLive's "Monitor Power" 8 pin Lemo port, and while it powers the monitor fine, I notice that my tally light is now on. This is without any tally light signal being sent (i.e. using a film camera) and I'm wondering if the cable is wired wrong or if that's somehow normal.

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers,

    - Deke

  5. Hiya Nils -

I've used a Pro vest which is great, but Ramon Engle recommended the ACT2 due to its tremendous adjustability and so it's peaked my interest. It's great to hear from someone who's been putting it through it's paces for a couple years. Thanks very much for the information.

    Happy new year!
