I am posting this for a DP I know who is selling his Klassen Universal Harness along with a Suspender rig. The harness is a medium size and should fit someone who is 5'7" to 5'10" and up to 175lbs. This harness was purchased by a DP a few years ago for a particular job that was mostly hand-held, and not used after that-- so it is in excellent condition. Please note that there is NO backmounted steadicam arm included with this harness as it was purchased to be used with the suspender only, but an arm can be purchased separately from Walter Klassen if needed. The price is right for this equuipt as the DP is motivated to sell: $2500 for the harness with the standard Klassen spare parts kit, the suspender rig and hard shell case for the suspender. All chargers have the current chip for charging all battery chemistry's including Lithium Ion. I also have 4 Pro formers batteries, 4 digital Trimpac 14's and 4 Hytron 50's. The Hytrons are less than a year old and have a limited number of cycles. The other batteries are between 2-3 years old and work fine, but have some use on them. I'm not exactly sure how much all this is worth, so if someone is interested in ALL or SOME of this gear please make a reasonable offer. Very interesting thread. But I am curious about this: with all the talk about the 70lbs of weight up top, all of the photos posted show the sled with a shortened post with a light LCD monitor and just one or two Dionic batteries. How is the steadicam balanced like that? Ouch, my brain hurts! Someone please clue me in! Bob Gorelick

I was quite surprised and saddened by this news. I too knew Jeff for over 20 years. As mentioned in earlier posts, Jeff was a most unique and gifted individual. Relentlessly optimistic, and fearless in his passion for Steadicam. I will always remember Jeff as truly one of the most kind and generous people I have met in this business. Jeff saved my butt on several occasions, as I'm sure he did for many others. One of Garrett's crowned "Living Masters", Jeff's legacy will live on forever. RIP, brother.....
