Vest problem

i guess i have a vest equip problem because when i equip ( pic 1 ) in the bottom of near backbone hurt
and if i equip ( pic 2 ) it presses on a bones and it is sick which one is correct pic 1 or pic 2 ? i guess pic 1 and the pain cause of the heavy steadicam ... its over 25 kg (full gear)
and the second question, when i done training/shot etc and want to remove arm i must pull out the quick release pin or remove arm rod ( for arm-vest connection ) from the vest ? and why
