  1. Thank you all for the responses. The problem started when I was on a job with a A RED one. I had BNC from the camera to the HDSDI on the top stage for my Archer 2. In the middle of the shot the image on my monitor started going in and out. I figured out that the HDSDI out at the bottom of the rig going into my monitor was the problem. So just ran a BNC from the camera to the monitor. I was just wondering if there was place in NYC that i may be able to take a look at it or fix the problem. Thank you, Candace
  2. Hi, Been having issues with my rig for a few weeks, thought it was due to the cold, but turns out its not. So here is my issue; The B&C output is not working from the bottom of the telescope (the monitor works fine, so I know its not that), and lately I've been having to connect directley from the camera to the monior. Has anyone else had this happen, what is it, why is it not working, and if anyone knows where in NYC I could get it fixed (or if I need to send it out). Thank you, Candace
  3. Hello, I own my own rig, and am looking for an insurance policy that will cover any lost, damaged or stolen equipment. At the moment I have fractured atlas insurance, which I previously got before the steadicam, which covers production and equipment, but I want to be sure that my equipment is covered and I may be needing to find another provider. On the other boards I've been hearing about W.P Dolle LLC, and was wondering if anyone knows what the price points are and how much monthly one would need to pay (ball park estimate), for insurance. Thank you for your time and interest in my issue. -Candace
  4. I recently purchased the Archer II, and on the stage there is a plug for a 3 pin lemo, but it says 12/24 volts, if I plug the Wireless FF into that will it be okay. The wireless follow focus needs a 2 pin lemo to power it, but I have an adapter thats a 2 pin lemo-XLRs that make it into a 3 pin lemo. Is there a better way of powering it, or is this method okay. Also I am worried about the 12 volt and 24 volt, will that be a problem, I know the 3 pin lemo says 12/24, is there a certain way to set it up, or would I need to buy another type of adapter. Thanks, Candace
  5. Hello, I'm a novice steadicam user, and have recently decided to make the investment and purchase the Archer 2. I am currently looking at different add ons and accessories for the Archer 2 and thought I could use some guidance when it came to purchasing cables and wires for professional cameras. I was told that as an operator, one must always be prepared with the cables, wires and connectors for every situation, for every type of job. If there is any information of what type of cables or wires I should invest in for professional jobs, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much. --Candace
