  1. Sanjay, Yes that is correct. The VF and the SDI outputs will be flipped and flopped. Chris.
  2. You can electronically invert the VF and SDI signal both Vertically, Horizontally, and Vertical & Horizontal. There is no reason the eyepiece could not be used on the right side except for the mechanical shutter housing is rather large so mounting the eyepiece far enough away might require some custom items. Chris
  3. The MDR3 has the polarity of the Arri 12V power port. It is reversed from the Bartech cable. Do not use your Bartech cables to power the MDR3 even though it looks the same and fits. Chris
  4. That's the Terry we all know. There to help when time isn't on your side. Nice job. Chris
  5. Massimo, My apologies for not having the correct info when we talked on the phone, I was driving. I charge the same amount as Jim for M-One motor cables, $145 instead of $150. Feel free to call either of us if you need one. Thanks Chris Konash
  6. As you both are aware there are several ways to integrate a start/stop cable into an Epic/Scarlet system. 1. Using a Red breakout cable you can buy the cable that goes from the MDR2 to a female BNC. 2. Without using the Red breakout you can have a cable made the looks like a regular MDR2 Camera cable that connects the MDR2 to the camera. 3. Or you can make a cable that plugs into the camera and has an intermediate small box with a BNC connection for TimeCode in and a through cable for the MDR2 run command. Terry West or I can make all of these options so it's a matter of what you need to do. I don't have them listed on my website yet but feel free to call if you need one. 7. Given the aforementioned circumstances Chris, I find this a little hard to believe. Can you show some sort of working proof or photos of this alleged Epic run/stop cable of yours. If it works, I'll buy one. But given that the geniuses at Preston and C-motion can't devise a solution, please understand my skepticism. And an open message to the guys at Red: This is ridiculous! WTF! Nick, Sorry for the late reply, I don't check up on the forum as much as I should. Just to be clear I do not advertize things that I can not deliver. If you would like proof please ask around on the forum or go to my website and have a chat with some of the clients I have made cables for, a client list is there. If you need anything feel free to contact me via phone or email. Thanks, Chris Konash www.eastcoastcables.com
  8. I make cables for the preston to run the Epic if anyone needs one.
  9. The Archos has been sold. Only a few items left at unbeatable prices. Thanks, Chris Konash
  10. If you want the Archos it's yours. It comes with a spare battery and the standard video/audio cable. I have been looking everywhere and can't find the power supply for it. it's a standard DC input 5VDC that can be picked up at any local radio shack. If your still interested give me a call or send me an email. Thanks Chris Konash 201.522.5030 Chris.Konash@me.com

  13. I am the second owner of this vest have have had it for about 5 years. It is made for a small frame operator, around 5' 8" or shorter. I have a 31" waist and it should fit anyone from 29" to 32". It has the original carbon arm and not the newer low profile version, also it has the early style front buckles. I have spoken with Walter and the older style buckles and carbon arm can all be updated if you want too. The vest works great and I have had no problems with it. It also comes with the $400 vest bag. Items included: Vest Vest Bag Carbon arm Arm Bag Air Pump for air bladder Please let me know if you have any question. Reason for selling: getting out of the business. Price: $2250. Thanks, Chris Konash 201.522.5030 Chris.Konash@me.com SOLD
