  1. I've designed a mounting bracket for my MDR3 with Taku at WK's shop in Toronto. It can be mounted either on the top or bottom and each circle of holes is designed to hold either a V-mount shoe or any bracket of your choice with a 1/4 20 thread. The V mount shoe can be orientated 4 ways in each of 5 possible spots, allowing for 20 different positions to mount the MDR3 in. I have no idea of a cost, the prototype will be tested this week but if anyone is interested let me know and I'll discuss prices with Taku later. The V mount shoes that I'm using are from the back of discarded SWIT batteries - they are plastic and I find them very snug. I have about 5 of them, if I'm unable to find the amount needed I'll have to change the hole spacing to a more readily available shoe like the ones from Element Technica. At any rate if you're interested let me know and I'll look into pricing. IB
  2. I've just sold my TiffenUltrabrite monitor and the buyer does not want the battery bracket I had built for the Monitor. This was built for the UltraBright 1 but may work on a 2 as well, I'm not sure about the hole spacing on the 2. The Banana plugs are colour coded and the D-tap on the IDX plate is wired in the the power as well. $250 US plus S&H for the combo IB
  3. I'm curious why you think this Alan. What is it that makes these more suited to the medical field than set life? In my mind having a battery that has a rubberized shell makes complete sense with all of the abuse they take on set. But there may be other aspects I'm unaware of. IB
  4. Both of these chargers are in perfect condition with the latest firmware chip installed. Photos to be posted soon. These sell new for $1184 at B&H. $800 each or $1,500 for the pair plus S&H IB
  5. Thanks, The Ikan lists as Just Released & out of Stock. I've ordered a bunch of pieces from CoolLCD.com that I think will make a nice handle set depending on the final rigidity. In fact it seems to be a more multi optioned solution if it pans out. I'll post some pics when I have it built. IB
  6. I just bought a SmallHD HB to backup my Gen2. In the meantime I thought it would make a great handheld set monitor for those in need (from assistants to directors and even me while setting that piece of foreground in just the right spot) Has anyone framed theirs with a perfect consumer handle set? What brands might work for a 7" monitor? I'm sure this has been discussed in the past but it never hurts to look again at what might be new and better. Cheers, IB
  7. I've been on the fence about maybe keeping this monitor as a backup - for $250 I bought an SDI to Analog BM converter and it works great with all signals - but the truth is that I just don't need it anymore. I'll let it go for $1000 US plus S&H If you're still in the SD world you'll be all set, if you're HD all you'll need is the SDI to analog converter from Blackmagic (I still need mine for other things) IB
  8. $3,000 US plus S&H. This will be the firm price. The vest is in good shape and I'd rather keep it at this point if it sells for any less. IB
  9. I have a heavy duty BM Analog to SDI up converter for sale - make me an offer, it's gathering dust!! IB
  10. There have been multiple tributes that I've seen in the last few days, some from people who knew her and others that didn't - THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT I'VE SEEN WITH ANY NEGATIVITY IN IT. Pat yourself on the back fella you've done it again - you know who you are!!
