  1. For an XCS post. XCS, MK-V or any 2" gimbal will do. From Jan 13th for a few days, perhaps up to a week PM if you have one available. Many Thanks, Iain
  2. Having just upgraded to the BRIII I'm selling my version II. It's been rewired with 16AWG and comes with 2 sets of battery plates. The wires are all colour coded and have secure easy connections on them so changing plates over doesn't require any soldering, just a screwdriver. I have it with 2 AB & 1 IDX in the Pics, but it comes with the double IDX and single AB plates as well. I'm asking $3,500 US plus S&H for all the pieces. IB
  3. I was thinking the same thing - What is the intended market for this, especially with the delay which makes it hard to use live? IB
  4. Great Shot from Ripper Street Danny!!! I've worked in Ireland quite a bit in the last few years on The Tudors and Vikings and know quite a few of the Ripper Street crew. I was sorry to hear that BBC pulled the plug but hopefully someone else steps up and keeps it going. IB
  5. I'm curious what you don't like about the interface Chris? I've been slowly getting used to it and find it handy for mobile use. IB

    Pro Vest

The problem you have with your elbow on the arm is why I designed the drop down bracket. IB

    Pro Vest

I love my PRO vest but I've found that you have to play around with the fittings until it feels right UNDER LOAD. Mine actually fits a little crooked in the shoulders until it has weight on it then it settles perfectly. IB
  8. Karsten, thanks for the Kudos - I'm happy to share the idea but have no interest in production IB
  9. It is a very good monitor.....my two knocks on it were/are A little too big No SDI Both mangaeble issues but i was in the mood for something new so moved on to the cinetronic. For many this would still be perfect!! IB
  10. The Hyperdeck with SD card and PRO mount weighs 1 pound 7 ounces, A PowerCube weighs 1 pound 11 ounces IB
  11. I recently upgraded few parts on my rig including switching to the new PRO Battery Rack III. I have to say that I am very impressed with the design and quality of the new Battery Rack. It's very sturdy and easy to setup. I had plates built a few years ago that allowed me to switch from AB to V mount on my PRO Battery Rack II but it was not a handy as the new removable battery plates. Since I keep my battery on the monitor it got me thinking what I could use the third position that was now empty for and came up with this..... The AB mount without the actual battery plate fits perfectly onto the top of the Hyperdeck I really hate the mini din co-ax so I put BNC jacks on the front of the Hyperdeck. With the internal battery removed in the Shuttle there is plenty of room in the front. I also put an 8pin lemo matching the PRO wiring so the power from the monitor goes in through the hyperdeck. There is a regulated feed to the Shuttle itself but the full load goes directly to the third power input on the PRO sled which effectively works the same as if the battery were mounted directly. I had recently installed the Hyperdeck on my Cinetronic but when I purchased the Quattro Monitor bracket the SD card became inconvenient to insert and remove so I was looking for alternatives already and this seemed so perfect!! 12. I'm selling a Tiffen Ultrabright 1 - It's very bright and HD but not with SDI input, only component HD. There is an Component to SDI converter made by Blackmagic that will make it fully HD-SDI ready which sells for about $300 US http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=18949&hl= IB
  13. The two short drop down arms are no longer available, nor is the IDX back. The monitor & Yoke is still for sale... $1400US Plus S&H IB
  14. Thomas, I had the ultrabright mounted on the drop down bars using the tiffen yoke with 15mm mounts. I found it to be very solid.
  15. I'm curious to hear what settings people have been having success with while using the digital level. IB
  16. Sale pending.... A few offers have come in and since discussions have begun I will be fair and give them a day to make a deal before taking any more offers / thank you. IB
  17. I'm selling my slightly modified and upgraded MK-V monitor bracket Comes with a Cinetronic yoke I had Walter Klassen build a stronger mating point as I found the stock MK-V version very flimsy I mated the yoke and bracket horizontally so you can spin the monitor easily for low mode, the kipp handle secures the yoke at any angle. Comes with two drop down bars that I used to mount a Tiffen Ultrabright to the bracket. The bracket is for a 2" post but comes with the three inserts for all MK-V post sizes. $600 US + S&H IB
  18. .....pics (not sure why the pics have chosen their own orientation?) The bracket sits between the recorder mount and the battery rack or directly onto the battery rack, if you don't have a recorder mount. The level fits in the space under the electronics, out of the way and very close to directly under the post.
  19. Combo Level/Frameline unit for SD signal. With PRO monitor input/output. Comes with custom bracket for level to mount in the center of the second edition PRO battery rack. Unit is in great condition and comes with a manual. If interested contact me through forum PM. $500 US + S&H Pictures to follow.....
  20. Lol, it's a little moleskin book that I've made over the years. Any time I learn the schematics of any useful electronic circuit or pinout I put it in. IB
  21. Here's what I've got in my book MDR 2 (Pin 1) connects to Arri 3Pin Fischer (Pin 1) MDR 2 (Pin 5) connects to Arri 3Pin Fischer (Pin 3) Cheers, IB
  22. I have a Hyperdeck Shuttle that will cross convert an HD-SDI signal to an HDMI signal, but regardless you shouldn't NEED a workaround with a professional monitor IB
