  1. What is your need for a converter box? If you tell us your intended purpose we can help you make an informed decision. (Full discloser: I do VTR work to help support myself whist I get to do more steadicam work, so I am quite willing to help out in said matters.)
  2. Title says it all. I am looking to buy a Bartech focus device with a Heden or M-One motor. Please PM me or email: jarrett.morgan (at) jpmphotovideo.com
  3. I just need to connect to the power output on the Scout. The manual lists the female as EGG.0B.303, so I think the male would be FGG.0B.303? I'm not worried about the wiring/soldering, just physically mounting the plate. Thanks. Alright, well. It doesn't look like there are any cheap options on ebay unfortunately. But mouser has them: http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=0b+303+fgg
  4. What type of lemos are you looking for? I have found a lot of lemos on ebay for super cheap. I recently got 6 FGG.0B.302 (the bartech power size) for 30 bucks and 5 FGG.2B.306 (red one power cable) for 25. as long as you know what you are looking for, you can find some good deals. As far as the battery plate, it is possible, but unless you are really comfortable working with wiring and DC current, I am not sure I would recommend it.
  5. I am looking for a topstage that is compatible with the Pro Gen I post. Thanks! Please give me a private message here, or email me at jarrett.morgan (at) jpmphotovideo.com
  6. easy way to find out is to grab a multimeter (either your own or check and see if an electri on set has one) and meter the 2 pin side of the cable for voltage while you have it plugged in and hot from the sled. it will tell you if the cable is wired for 12 or 24 volts.
  7. Thanks! It flew an Alexa with a Preston, Cinetape and onboard Dionic quite nicely. Best purchase I have ever made I believe!

    Thanks again!

  8. Really interesting read. Thanks for sharing!
  9. There is a nice review of a generation older one on Reduser: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?71112-RTMotion-Wireless-Follow-focus-review&highlight=rtmotion
