  1. Hi Job! ... seems to be a good Idea, but in his Video he followed a redhead-girl, which also worked fine! I got my V20 two weeks ago and I am surprised how good this works for a beginner! Anyhow, I would be interested in doing a Training with you, but I won't be able to do this before end of September, so we might get into contact the next weeks. I am heavily working on loosing my own bodys "payload" so it will be more reasonable to do the training then ... cu Achim
  2. Hi Matze, really good job for a first-time Operator. Your rig seems to be really solid. Give me some additional data: Which Cam was used and hoe was the payload of your setup? Are you interested in testing the rig in a professional environment. Send me an email, as I am located in Germany, lke you are... Really: Congratulations! Achim
  3. Hi Job, you are a REALLY active use, and I appreciate very much your quick answers! Job, YES , I am in a hurry because I hve to get skilled and used to the sled I buy in the next 3 Months, that means, I have to jump into serious shooting mid of September ... So I would like to dive into the (hopefully not too cool) water within the next weeks. There are only a few choices under these conditions: 1. Starting with a V16 or V20 Sled for getting into it and upgrading later 2. Getting a Flyer, which is lighter in comparison to the V Sleds: less weight, LESS STABILITY ??!! I can NOT afford a Glidecam Gold system for the Project, but I need to have camera stabilisation and, as it is a Documentary, I will have to stay for hours in the system ... The V35 will not be available before IBC I think, and that will not leave me the Time to get enough operating skills ;-( the usual Problems: not time, no money BUT LOTS OF MOTIVATION Thank You Job, my best wishes Achim
  4. Hi there, have to decide whether to get a Flyer or an SK Sled for my SDX900, so I am looking for experiences on these Sleds. Seems like the 900 is very close to the payload limits of the Flyer, so I am wondering, if the SK would be a good choice??? What about the green CRT on the SK, need to get an 16:9 Image, is this possible, any suggestions? I appreciate your suggestions and comments. Cu Achim MEDIENFRONT Germany
  5. Hi Chris, sounds good to me, I'll try to get grip on testing a sytem here in Germany (seems like Tiffen is not very present in the german market). Would be nice to shre informations (also got my 900 two minths ago and I am very happy with the beast). I hope they let you out again. ;-) My best wishes Cu Achim
  6. Hi Job, thanks for your Reply, going to test both Sytems V16 / Flyer. You own a Glidecam Gold, which is far too expensive for us documentary guys, already invested in the SDX900 which really is woth the money!!! Checked out Your website, great CloseUps in the Musicvideo Raffish! greetings from Gernamy to the Netherlands ... Achim
  7. Hi There, has anyone already gained experience with an SDX900 on a Steadicam Flyer? It is very close to the Payload Limit ... What are the DIFFERENCES between Flyer and a a Glidecam V16 Sled? (Don't say "Look", that is obvious ...) as the Flyer is also a "Low Cost" sled??? I really appreciate any comments ... Achim
