  1. Hey everyone, I've uploaded a few shots of my work with my Steadicam Merlin 2 so far. Although it feels balanced when I move it side-to-side and forward and back, when I walk (even though I feel I'm going slow and straight), I'm getting a forward-to-back wobble and was hoping someone could help diagnose the issue. I've read the instructions, played around, etc... Just can't seem to achieve that 'perfect balance'. Of course, I know the operator is to blame for some of this and I'll keep practising! Any suggestions would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Steadicam Wobble Thanks, Cam
  2. Hi there, Been trying to achieve 'perfect balance' on my Canon HF G10 camcorder for the past two weeks, and I'm driving myself crazy. I'm also using a Canon WD-58 0.7 58 Wide-Angled Converter. If someone wants to take the time to help me find the right specifications on the Merlin 2, I'd be happy to Paypal over some $. Please contact me ASAP. Cam cambrown41@hotmail.com
  3. Hi there, To any pros or anyone else out there familiar with balancing a Steadicam Merlin 2: I'm in dire need of some help! I've had my Steadicam for two weeks, have spent countless hours (like most of you I'm sure), and I still cannot achieve the 'perfect-balance' where it looks like the camera does not move at all when moving the Merlin around. It seems there are so many variables at play and my camera is not in the Cookbook. I am using a Canon Vixia HF G10: Camera Page/Specs and a Canon WD-58 0.7 x 58 Wide-Angled Converter: Lens Specs Is anyone able to offer Merlin measurements based on these two items? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I need to figure this thing out soon. I'll even Paypal someone some $ if I can get it balanced properly. Please contact, Cam
