I figured it would be a 3D printed project in the end, so you just use a standard female D-tap for that mount and use a through-bolt to hold it in place yeah? Is that a 3D printed chassis with the connector built in? edit: nevermind read that its milled aluminum, so what do you use for the female d-tap?

Wondering if there is a resource for D-tap receptacles that are meant for chassis/panel mounting (small d-box or panel) I've made due with shoehorning a standard female plug with epoxy and clever cutting in the past but if there is a reasonably priced alternative I'm really interested in that

I've had good luck with a number of buck and buck / boost boards that I've added housing, straight from ebay. Lots of 3-32v style units with high efficiency and output.

Are you guys using the yoke provided and mounting it directly to a 1/4" single bolt?

Same reason that HD doesn't work through your pro 8 pin video/power out if you were to split it to a BNC. The wiring used in the loom is not sufficient and completely unshielded.

From what I can tell it seems as though the AUX power port is wired for combining with some sort of cable or secondary camera power port to provide a 24v power source by powering in series, is this correct? The port is only hot on the reverse polarity of the rest of the pro 2 outs, and the ground does not complete a circuit with the port alone. So I assume it is meant to be used with one of the other 12v ports (all of which seem to be wired to "camera power" on my sled).

PRO only makes one style of db2 lever and it is only made to the tolerance of the original lever. I was told that there is only the one option and no guarantee that it will tighten to third party plates.

Pro charges $200 for a new lever That's a tough buy for a lever.....what do you think you would charge if you made some

I'm thinking the problem is this silly little latch I cleaned up the gunk build up that was between the stage and the tightening mechanism and that actually helped an enormous amount, but there is still a small amount of slippage. The latch is just...really old and worn out I think. Is there any replacement available anywhere, and specifically one that is maybe a millimeter deeper on the connecting side? For whatever reason Pro designed this mechanism such that there is almost zero tolerance

Isn't locking down on all PRO plates either. Have a pro longplate that slips on it.

DB2 here is not locking down fully with all plates. Actually it is your old DB2 Janice! Doesn't seem to be an issue with the clamp screw, any other thoughts before I dive into this thing?

Maybe I'm doing this wrong. I installed the latest 3.0.8 bolt manager software. The drivers did not install. I had to point windows driver update to the Teradek folder /drivers/x86 to get it to install my bolt devices. Then, when the manager is open, it will not detect my bolt units. Did I skip a step or something? Tried it on two different PC's with the same result.

We got an arm here from Janice, with SN 179 on it. Robert Luna said it was an old Model 1 upgraded to 3A standards. He said it was pre-79 because he has no information for it except that it was upgraded to 3A in 86 I think. Pretty cool stuff!
