Hey so looks like our dovetail plate was left with a production, is anyone able to rescue with a flyer plate today ?
-
Any reason this couldnt be done, barring the possibility of batteries having an input protection diode?
Talking about lengths of only a few inches so I tend to think that current would not be an issue at only a few amps tops
-
I like the proprietary connectors...keeps ya out of trouble no matter who is touching the camera

I bought what was advertised as a 651STX monitor but when I received it, it turned out to be a 651ST.
As far as I can tell the difference is that there are not adjustable framelines on the ST, and no 1/4" side mounting options.
Is that it? Trying to avoid sending it back.

Everything finally taken care of, I think!

So a week and a half later, emails ignored, nobody reachable in tech support or sales....
Tomorrow is the last day of the sale as well.
I wonder whose "last chance" it is gonna end up being here

Looking for the mounting bracket for an analog bartech system, preferably with the rod mount bracket component as well
-
Working on a little project. Wouldn't mind having a combination cable that has power and a shielded cable that I can attach some 75ohm ends to. Short distance down a sled post.
Curious if I should even worry much about the shielding for just a few feet drop.
Any reliable source for this kind of cable is appreciated!

Have a Master series vest and I believe a 3A socket block. One of the plastic housings of a thumbscrew broke. They look to be identical screws to the Flyer vest as well.

These appear to be the same item, right? Not sure which size is proper, if anyone knows off of the top of their head I'd be grateful

We seem to have lost the knob for channel selection on top of the bartech handheld unit. Guessing its a generic order piece from a few online resources. No idea what part number though.
Anyone know?

Bought some of these 3ft cables. They've been super sturdy, very flexible, well insulated. They're not spaghetti thin, just the next step up.

Just as it says, looking for a long pro dovetail plate
-
Well I've discovered it is a Pro2 extendable center post with bayonet mount. Is there a significant upgrade going with the newer generation Pro posts regarding stiffness? Especially telescoping
-
Yep, I called pro and it seems they aren't made for sale anymore. They'll modify the base for us if we buy a post from them though. At that price point we might be looking at just doing an overhaul instead though.
Is there a way to modify your Pro-Lite base to accept the new Pro style mount?
-
Yeah it would really just be there for relief as a place to dock. It looks like the metal is too thin and fragile through the existing metal though and likely to sheer off with a heavy load....maybe I'll just have to wait for a big cart.
-
It's kind of difficult to find information about what parts are compatible with the old style prolite base without pro bayonet mount. If anyone has a great stiff post (upgrading from an old pro telescopic post) that is compatible with this base, please advise. If you know what posts work with it or can be really easily modified I would love to know that as well.
thanks!

Does anyone know of a modern replacement center post that will work with a prolite base? I'm having a hell of a time with vibration on this old post when it's extended any significant amount. Basically any job with a larger camera like an Alexa.
Of course the other option is a whole new rig basically...which may also be the best option.

Just picked up an R6 Rock n Roller cart to keep us going until we grab a magliner or something similar. Just curious what others have done, if anything, to enhance the use of these carts. Any luck in adding a docking bracket to the handle? I'm worried it isn't stiff enough or strong enough to support the weight of a fully loaded 60+lbs rig.
-
Well I have switched it down to HD 1080/29.97. Will see how that works out as soon as we get a camera to test it with.
On another note, is there a Mac OS version of the Decimator software?
-
Thanks I will check this out! Had it set to 1080/60 because of a client with a monitor that wouldn't take any other frequency. Never changed it. Good to know.
I bet this will make things work out fine.
I have a couple of spare din cables as backup if you need them now. Swing by to pick them up when you want. and keep them for as long as you need. Also, if it's not too late try to buy some angled din connectors or you will not be happy.
Also 1080p 60 is not a standard HDMI format and might be an issue with the hyperdeck. try with 1080p 30 (or 1080i 60 for interlaced) It's also a good thing not to send a 60p signal through your Nyrius since it uses twice more bandwidth than 30 for basically the same image on the client monitor.

Hi Jarrett,
That's possibly a good point. The decimator HDMI worked fine by itself when we did not use the shuttle.
The decimator is currently set to scale HDMI out as 1080/60Hz
What is the signal going into the decimator? Is it a possibility the signal coming from the camera isn't an HDMI-compatible signal?
Maybe you can hook the decimator up to a PC and change the HDMI scaling to a resolution/framerate that works with the shuttle?Just a thought.
-
Well, this is likely to be a short-lived issue since my mini-DIN SDI connectors are on the way...
but anyhow, it seems that the Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 does not receive a video signal from the HDMI output of the Decimator 2. It simply does not register as a video feed on the hyperdeck. Doesn't light up, doesn't pass-through, doesn't allow recording. Plugging in any regular HDMI device activates it.
Just something I noticed. Is this a known issue?
Also, I've noticed the power draw seems to be immense for the unit....states .84 amps out @ 12v? It's killing our 90wh battery setups that usually run us 4+ hours in only 1.5hrs. Isn't that a little absurd.
-
I'm betting on the cable as well. Recently ran some cable through one of our sleds and now have the same result. Not debilitating when operating, but a bit of a nuisance when you're checking your gear.
-
Looking to get a gimbal grip for our pro lite sled, let me know what you have!
