  1. Thankyou all for your advice, I actually did take a look at the previous articles on the Basson Steadicam... I'm just in a bit of a situation now because I need something, which can hold cameras up to around 20lbs... I guess it's probably best if I wait a couple of years until I can get myself a proper steadicam rig. However, I do need to get practise on a more basic one before making the big step! Thanks again Matthew
  2. Hi All, Greetings from Australia! I'm currently working in a video production company as a cameraman. However, my true passion lies in the field of steadicam operation. I'm currently looking at investing in a rig. As I'm still a student and work isn't exactly regular, my budget isn't as flexible as I would have liked. I only have about $5000-$5500 U.S to spend. I was wondering if there was someone who would be able to point me in some direction of particular makes and models, which I should be going for. I have come across one particular rig, which I have really come to like. It's produced by a relatively small comapny, known as "Basson" and is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The particular model is known as the "Silver Arrow 925". Images and details of this product can be seen at: www.bassonsteady.com.ar If you could supply me with any advice, regarding this rig or any others that I should take a look at, it would be very much appreciated. Kind Regards Matthew
