I've read the term 'dynamic balance' regularly within the forum but would like clarification with regard to its meaning in the context of a sled/steadicam. I suspect that it means the ability to adjust the balancing components (monitor, batteries) in all directions in order to achieve balance? Is it a case of balancing the lower components to match the camera, rather than adjusting the camera position to balance fixed lower components? Is it a case of being able to obtain balance despite moving components: Move the monitor position and then adjust the battery position to maintain balance? Thanks in advance.
