This is really an awesome thread Dave. I'm really enjoying watching every single video on here. Mad respect to all you operators.
I've been operating for 2 years, so I still have a long ways to go. Despite living in Hong Kong (limited resources and ops) I've gotten a lot of encouragement from operators around the world and the boys from Tiffen being super helpful with me.
Here's oner I did a few months back. It's not my best work, but I am proud to be able to get closer to becoming a better operator. What makes this video even more special is having Garrett Brown skype me and go through the video frame by frame (He saw a different take). I know my mistakes and what I can do to improve, but hearing it all from him just makes it that much more special.
The video was shot using my zephyr with an FS700.
I have a pic I took on skype with Garrett, dunno how to post it here, but I sure wish I had a snap shot of his set up. He used his ipad with the video and bounced the image off a vanity mirror to the computer camera so I could see him looking at it hahahahah.
Fly safe everybody.

I'd love to help on this test...I just need some snow and a snowmobile...damn. Maybe try a go pro 3 first on the slave end and start it directly in the snow and boom up through it...ok I'm getting carried away.

Although I'm still a newbie. I feel the same way. Thankful for taking the gold workshop and meeting the best of the best and having guys like Robin and Brett always helping out.
I still have a long ways to go as an operator, but I'm enjoying every minute of it.
I managed to get my Zephyr and Tango and everyday I'm practicing with it and going to work is like being in a playground. I'm forever thankful for all that.
Nice to meet you and everybody else on the board.

Wow, it's good to know screws can come loose on the Zephyr. I've noticed this sort of thing happening to me as well so I guess it's time to tighten up. From my experience I find the connection from the camera to any quick release plate to the dovetail the main areas of shake.
One time I used an Sony Ex-3 and it was just like your video, but I finally found out that the plate was touching the rubber shoulder pad which would vibrate the video...it was such a small detail, yet it made a huge impact.
BTW, I'm a long time lurker and first time poster, so Hello to you all!
