  1. Hi, is yours kit still available? Will you give me an invoice for my company? I'm from Poland so do you know what is the fee of duty?

    Regards,

    Robert

  2. Practice cage, quick release plate for cage, HDMI<-> SDI converter, and associated power cable have been sold. Everything else is still available.
  3. Hello everyone. Looking to sell my entire steadicam package. Deep dove into steadicam about a year ago and picked all this up. Unfortunately, recently, I suffered a medical setback that's going to prevent me from doing steadicam for the foreseeable future so it's time to find it all a new home. Perfect for the person looking to get into a comprehensive system top to bottom. I'm willing to entertain breaking it up into pieces but would definitely prefer to keep it all together as one package. The gear itself is in pristine condition, I'm pretty meticulous with my equipment. I've attached photos as well as a breakdown list of everything that's included in the kit. All in value wise I spent ~$69,000 (nice) on the package. Prices have come up a bit since then but willing to sell the whole thing for $58,000. I highly encourage anyone who is interested in it to come and try it out first. If you have any questions for me, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm based in Los Angeles, would prefer a regional sale but will ship for the right buyer/arrangement. Key item highlights - Tiffen M2 Sled with Volt - Flowcine Xarm - GPI Pro Vest - SmallHD 703 and 503 (low mode) monitors - Yaeger Pro Cart - American Stand with Wheels - CineLevel - 6 Battery Gold Mount set + 1 slim (optional) for back of monitor - Multitude of Sled->Power cable options - Lots of accessories - Practice Cage
  4. You're a god send =) I'm not sure of the proper vernacular. But is there an "extension chord" of sorts for d-tap and what is it called?
  5. Ah ok, sorry, I think I mis-typed. I'm not too interested in powering the camera via v-mount. Mostly just accessories like wireless FF, wireless transmitter, and the monitor. I have the p-tap cables necessary for the other accessories. Great info about the plate! So would http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=p-vs2&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search= suit all of my needs? what cable to I need to get to run from the plate/battery into the monitor?
  6. Hey guys. I just bought one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-15kg-Load-Camera-Video-Steadycam-Stabilizer-Steadicam-Carbon-Fiber-Vest-/140936942966?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20d07f1576 And let me preface, I know the feeling towards them here. I would never profess to be a "steadicam operator" and have nothing but the utmost respect for the professionals who have mastered this craft. I bought one simply as a toy if you will to mess around on my own with. I figured since it was so cheap, why not. With that said, I had a question about battery plates and powering the rig. I have a SmallHD AC7 monitor that I was planning on mounting to the rig. As of now, I have it powered off it's own batteries but I would like to get that monitor, as well as any camera that I put on the rig, powered by V-Mount batteries. The "steadicam" I purchased does have a hollow post to run cable up. So I was wondering specifically what I need to look for in a battery plate to make sure I can power both the monitor and camera. I've been looking at IDX's plates http://www.idxtek.com/products/V-Plate%20%2526%20V-Mt%20Adaptors but really can't understand the difference between them and what I would need. Which plate do you think will get the job done? Should I be looking at other brands? Do I need to buy any other special cables to connect the plate to the monitor? (I know I'll need a p-tap to lemo for any RED rigs). Thanks in advance guys! Always love the information on here!
  7. Hey guys, I could use your help. I'm now a part owner on a RED Scarlet package. I typically DP and rent myself out along with the package. Right now, whenever I need a steadicam op, I almost always hire a professional one separately. Especially on bigger gigs where clients have the budget. I have no aspirations to steadicam op myself full time and don't profess to be that great at it. With that said, I'm looking for a steadicam rig that can fly a stripped down RED Scarlet. This is purely for low/no-budget favor shoots and just something that I can play and have fun with. It would be flying the scarlet, redvolt in side handle, SSD drive, screw on ND, and a light wide angle prime (zeiss still lens, cinemodded). No wireless FF, no wireless transmitter, no mattebox, no 4x4 filters, etc. Can I get away with flying this on a Pilot or a Scout? The Zephyr is just way too far out of the budget.
