I recently purchased a ShadowV with the intent on doing mostly narrative work. In the event that I have an opportunity to shoot some live content I want to make sure I'm setup to do that as well. Can someone give me a list of acs. they have found to work best for live shooting, for instance focus and zoom control from the gimbal handle?

I'm curious if anyone can give advice to flying international with batteries. I have a gig coming up in Israel and have 6 Anton Bauer Dionic HC's in my kit. I have an SKB case for my batteries with laser cut foam inserts for each individual battery. Everything I read online regarding flying with lithium ion batteries seems a bit ambiguous. I have flown domestically (kit gets checked) many times with 4 AB HC's in my camera package and never had an issue. Please respond if you have any insight!

Chris, regarding the Starlight. How do you feel about the H264 codec, that's pretty standard for content that is going to make its way online, correct? Other recorders offer more robust codecs but whats the point if all I'm trying to do is collect content to be cut for a reel that is going online?

I'm interested in finding an external recorder to be used as playback that won't interrupt playback to video village from camera. I read about the atomos samurai and convergent designs devices and like these but want to tap into the forum to find out about others that may be available. Also what is the best way to mount these devices?
