  2. Hello, I am experiencing serious problems on a M1 motor repair. I´ve sent the motor to Loonworks (Don) at march and lost contact to Don mid of May, neither Don or Jim (from bartech) are answering my emails and I have no information where my motor is. The last thing I was told is that the repair will be finished around the 19th of May, ftom that time I was not able to contact them anymore. Anyone got some info whats happening there? Thanks, Robert
  3. Hi, I cannot find polarity information of the arri BAT connector in the manual, but i have to make a cable to power an alexa. Would someone please provide some info, Thanks, Robert
  4. Hi, I´ve worked with the Baer-Bel arm for several years now and it is in nice condition. Anyway, I fly light rigs only and do not need the performance of this arm anymore. It has 6 spring canisters, 4 heavy and 2 light ones which make the arm fly just anything. It comes with all tools needed and several arm posts. Possibly someone with a g50 needs more weight range and wants to change. Else I am probably going to sell it. Greetings, Robert
  5. The Sled package was sold today. These Items are still available: Arm Package: 7800? Vest: 1800? Both: 9200? Greetings, Robert
  6. Price updated. After some questions I offer the system in parts too: Sled Package: 5800? Arm Package: 7800? Vest: 1800? All Together: 14500?
  7. Hello, I am selling my complete baerbel package. I bought it used (it is the modified version for russian ark (the sled!! not arm and vest), fitted with some new parts (gimbal, anton bauer battery system,...) I think it is perfect for a starter who wants a full working rig out of the box. Ready to fly. It contains: *Baer-Bel 24V Sled with custom power sliding base (no cables from batteries to rig neeed) ---2" Lightweight Gimbal ---Anton Bauer Battery base ---Russian Ark 12V Battery system (custom built from Baer-Bel) ---Standart Monitor Bracket ---Focus Bracket ---12V/24V Swichable ---7" daylight viewable SD panasonic display ---4x Anton Bauer Trimpac 14 batteries (used but in nice condition) ---Anton Bauer Twin charger (2 position) ---Standart plate with 15mm rods ---sony and panasonic plate (fits, hdcam, digibeta, hpx, dvcam,...) (not on pictures) ---catgriller (makes you swich the camera from steadycam to tripod in no time! ---cables for arri, moviecam, digital cameras (XLR4) The Sled is in nice condition with a 2" expandable titanium post. *Baer-Bel Arm (same principal like the pro but it feels somewhere between the 3A and the Pro) ---6 spring canisters (4 heavy 2 light) which make you fly every camera in the world ;) ---4 studs in different lengths ---j-bracket The spring canisters are changed in no time. It makes you fly every camera from 3-25kg (i never tried more but i think it would work for a even heavier camera) *Baer-Bel Vest The socket block can be mounted in different hights and left or right. I custom fitted some straps and a new padding for better comfort. It fits almost every operator. The system is used and shows some wear but it is in nice condition and works perfect. It is located in Tirol / Austria / Europe. I can be tested there! It comes in 2 Pelicases that fit the whole rig. The Vest comes in a bag. There is nothing more needed to start flying. More information about the baer-bel stabilizers: www.baer-bel.de I am asking 16000? for the whole setup. Greetings, Robert please contact me via email: robert@steady.at
  8. hi, i cannot remember, but either i ust did not notice or there were none. but maybe there are differences. i am back on my baerbel rig :D Greetings, Robert
  9. Now thats really a low budget rig :D It was for a 1:20 sequence in a music video. My 2" Baerbel gimbal was on service, so i had to borrow a 3a rig which i never used before. I was asked to fly a m2(cheapo 35mm adapter) setup with a hvx200 on its back. the problem of the m2 35mm adapter is that it flips the image around and the greenscreen of the old 3a rig has no flip function (or i was just too stupid to find it) so i decided to use my sushi server (baerbel lomode bracket) to flip the whole camera setup  it worked out pretty fine, but i had to use some security strap to fix some vibrations that came from the upside down mounting. greetings,
  10. Hi, The steadycam takes in the plane worked out pretty fine, but it was pretty hard on the back. The takes were not too difficult so i was able to realize what they expected from me. Thanks for your information! some pictures: Greetings, robert
  11. Hi, Thanks for the all the answers! i think i will get it done, but it will be a hard day of work. i am temporary trying to operate with the whole rig in front of me, quite a uncomfortable position. matthias, i will be at cinec, see you there! greetings and thanks a lot!, robert
  12. Hello, I was asked to shoot some scenes for a commercial inside a plane. i think its in the economy class of a 747 set. has anywone of you ever done a shot like that? i think it is quite narrow. i use a baerbel rig with frontmounted vest so i could be quite slim enough. i will check out the set soon. camera will be a Sony HDW-730 with pstechnik adapter and zeiss lenses. anyone a hint for me? thanks, robert
  13. 14. nobody knew? according to the arri rental guy it is not possible. according to the manual it is. so i made a cable with 12v power (hirose4 to xlr3) from my rig and it worked perfect. greetings, robert
  15. hi, is it possible to use an arri umc with 12V input? greetings, robert
  16. hey chris, do you have a price for the archer monitor? thanks, robert
  17. i have a modified baerbel sled (the np1 version but upgraded to anton bauer) it has a bnc in on the upper j-box and a bnc out for monitors. it is also possible to use hirose4 (top) and hirose6 (lower) to cable the monitor, but this propably will not work. i think i have to try it ang get a bnc cable to be shure. thanks a lot! greetings, robert
  18. i am a noob, so i hope this maybe totally stupid question is allowed. "The Steadicam arm lift the most of the weight and you help to lift the rest up to the desired headroom position to avoid the "step" effect in the frame. " does that mean that it is better to trim the arm -10° from horizontal position and lift it up to horizontal to avoid bumping? i also read something that says it is better to loosen the springs in a 3a type arm to get in smoother. i thought springs work more constant if they are under a certain pre tension? i use a baerbel arm which works with compression springs, what do the pro or baerbel users think of pretension in their arms? thanks for answers! greetings, robert
  19. Hello, If i use a HD monitor like the panasonic on my sled with a varicam or any other hdcam; can i wire the monitor threw the bnc contacts on the sled? i think i´ve read that somebody had to run i wire down the sled, but i cannon find that topic anymore. i guess hd out is 75ohm on bnc too, so i am guessing why a cable would be needed. thanks a lot, robert
  20. could somebody explain to me what that means? thanks, robert
  21. i´d like to see it, i can host your video for a while. just mail me: robert.eder@runimation.com greetings
