  1. I've had the Samurai since they came out. Works great. Start/Stop on Epic anyway works perfect. I'd luck to upgrade mine to the Blade though. Better screen and standard BNC connections. Long Battery life is also fantastic.
  2. I will have a more in-depth review of the RTMotion when the Schneider Xenon FF lenses show up.
  3. I'm sorry my post offended some of you. I am indeed a Reduser and wasn't aware of the attitude towards us here. My bad.
  4. You guys might be interested in what's brewing here: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?104574-ProLine-Film-Gimbal-co-developed-by-me-)
  5. Mostly in the second half of this video. Also at 11:45 mark, the steadicam guy bangs the other cameraman.
  6. They're not shipping anything until the end of August anyway :P
  7. I Yes it seems like it will work. You just need to power it. Since it's 5V USB powered, just use a portable Cell phone battery charger.
  8. It's from RTmotion. They gave me a heads up to whats brewing over there. There's a few more goodies coming from them. Also, response from them can be sketchy at times as they are a very small shop. They're probably busy co-ordinating the large group buy I organized a few months ago :)
  9. Great summary Boyd. I should be getting mine any day. Also, they have a bunch of great accessories coming out too including a new thumbwheel.
  10. Hands down the most comfortable shoulder pad I have ever used. If you can attach velcro to the bottom of your camera, you're golden. http://www.letusdirect.com/cart/mcs-shoulder-pad.html
  11. This was shot on the RED Epic.
  12. Epic does not do PsF. It is true progressive through the SDI.
  13. In my search for an affordable wireless follow focus, I pretty much had to decide on the Redrock Micro, or the RTMotion. I decided to go the RTMotion and even managed to get a group buy going over on Reduser. The link is here.
