Exo Vest for sale. It's two and a half years old and was upgraded 6 months ago with the latest modifications and new pads from Tiffen. It has some wear and tear - the stitching in the shoulder straps is fraying a bit and will need to be replaced in time but this is an easy and inexpensive fix. Other than that it's in pretty much perfect condition. Comes with an almost full compliment of replacement parts (as shown) and a includes a Storm Pelicase 2975 which itself cost £300. I've seen what some others go for on the forum and don't want mess about so it's up for £3750. Any more info please PM me. best Tom

I've tried the vibro barefoot thing. i know what you say Chris about building up to wearing them. Maybe i should try them again... For now I've settled for a kind of half half between Chris and James; I use Nike Free Run but i put a Birkenstock innersole inside instead of the crappy Nike one that is supplied. I find the Birkenstock innersole gives me enough support while the Nike Free trainers are just so light simple, you can feel every bump you walk over. For muddy and wet work i just use the lightest walking boot i can find. North face do a good one as do Mammut. Some times i put the Birkenstock inner sole into these too.

Hi there. I've Recently been shooting a lot on ATV's and rickshaws and also vest mounted in high winds. What are people's views on the omega stabilisation system?? I'm planning to demo one soon but just wanted to get a heads up on a few things: Build quality? Simplicity to rig? Ability to go high and low mode without any adjustments to the rig????? Can it take a 65mm Alexa with a heavy lens???? Thanks. Tom

Hi there. I thought you could use a 100 % HD video top with an Arricam LT but Both Panavision and Arri in London say otherwise... Has anyone had any experience with this ?

Stand Front Box - Hardwood edition

Afton hi. Are you still making the hardwood boxes? I'm interested in buying one if you are! I'm in London so cold you ship? Cheers. Tom -
I'm selling 6 of my PAG batteries and a 4 way charger. There are five L95e and one L96e batteries. They are identical in every way apart from a different colour scheme... it was just part of PAG's re-branding in 2013. I'm selling them as I am working with higher draw cameras more frequently now. The batteries have had between 70 and 90 cycles, so hardly used in PAG quality standards. I bought these from PAG in London on 29th may 2013 - i can send you a copy of the receipt to validate this. Batteries were £230 each new and i'm asking £150 each. Charger was £726 new and i'm asking £500. All prices excluding VAT. All very clean and in perfect working order.

Best high draw gold mount batteries
Tom Wilkinson replied to Tom Wilkinson's topic in Batteries/Power
Thanks James. A lot of help. you have a Tiffen rig right? How does the battery system differ to a PRO (where the back two batts power the camera in series )? tom -
Hi all. Can you please tell me the weight of the 150 and 190 versions? They do look quite thick but it's the weight that counts...

Best high draw gold mount batteries
Tom Wilkinson replied to Tom Wilkinson's topic in Batteries/Power
thanks James, hope you are well. What cameras are you powering day to day? -
Ok, so what are the best high draw gold mount batteries out there?? I know Optical Support here in London do a 130 Wh high draw batt. But what about other companies like Beillen, who do a 160 Wh. SWIT who do a 190Wh. Or Const, who also do a 190 Wh.... Anyone had any experience with any of these other companies?? I'm aware they might be too bulky for steadicam use???? While the Optical Support ones are designed specifically, size and weight wise, for steadicam... can any one help?? tom
