  6. I'm pretty new to steadicam. I have an archer 1 rig with a G50 arm and a Walter Klassen vest. I haven't had much trouble balancing the rig and setting up the arm so it's not coming at me or pulling away from me and when i'm shooting everything feels okay but looking at the footage I can see some of my steps. I'm not sure if it's a vest issue ( I do have hips a little larger then normal for my body size) , arm issue or a walking problem. Here's a link for reference Disclaimer: I know my framing and lock offs are not great yet.
  7. I'm looking into a cheap back up option for a Baseplate with a rod support system that is compatible with a Steadicam Archer Dovetail plate. It would be for the volunteer small indie productions that i'm doing to gain experience and skill. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should go for that isn't super expensive. I've been looking into this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/841127-REG/Zacuto_Z_CGB_GORILLA_BASEPLT_f_C300_SCRLET_EPIC_CAM.html
  8. I'd like to buy a Bartech M-One Kit. email me at: emily2767@aol.com
  9. Hey Everyone, Is there any videos/literature out there that provides information on how to teach someone to work with a steadicam operator? Like holds when running forward and backward, how to work with an operator and such? I remember stuff from the course but i'd like to review and send it around my production office.
