About Dave Edgar

  1. CP Steadicam model 3 for sale. $14,700.00 USD This rig was originally owned by Bob Ulland. It is sled number 312, vest number 341, and arm #509. The arm was rebuilt by FTC Orlando 2 years ago. Gold springs. Rig lightly used since then. However, this is a well used rig with the wear and scratches to prove it, but it has never failed me. (even the green screen always came on) The gimbal and arm are very nice. Sled has anvil case with new foam, Arm has Pelican case with newer foam, vest has hard case. I will guarantee this rig, details to be worked out with buyer. Also comes with Seitz 4 channel radio follow focus (focus+iris+zoom+camera start/stop) transmitter, receiver, amplifier, 2 batts and 1 charger, cables, 1 Heden 26p and bracketry. Also includes low mode cage, bracket, 1 camera plate, monitor shade, set of allen wrenches, docking bracket, copy of original manual.. In short, everything that you need to start out. Includes 8 CP batteries (4 need recell) and 3 chargers. Anyone near St. Louis, MO is welcome to stop by and try it, I will also be in Las Vegas the first week of Feb for anyone on the west coast who wants to see it. I can take credit cards on my merchant account. Send any questions to dedgar@brownshoe.com. You can check my Ebay feedback, id is steadifilm. Thanks for looking

It appears that this pencil model is now sold under the PaperMate name. Since the pencils that have the original, gold lettered logo "Sanford" are no longer available, I assumed it was a Mark I, but it is not labeled as such, nor is it labeled Mark II. I apologize for any confusion. Based on the response to my auction, it is still a desirable pencil.

Has anything or anyone famous been involved with this item? The girl who played the Daughter in "Coach" once had her demo reels tapes on the shelf that this pencil has been stored on. Also, Garrett Brown, the inventor of the Steadicaam, once briefly glanced at the pencil in question. > > 3. Do you have any unsharpened? They are worth more this way. The Pencil would not qualify for OSHA safety standards if it was sharpened in the E.A. Style, so we are unable to offer them to our US customers > > 5. What is the serial number? #2 > > 6. What kind of batteries does it take and how many? No batteries are require for normal use of the pencil All other uses would immediately void the warranty. > > 7.
