Donkey Box 1 for Parts - the 5 fasteners that attach the lockdown screw to the unit are stripped. ( See Photos ). The X-Y Adjustments and everything else are in really good shape. There are people who have repaired the stripped fastener plate in the past, but I will let the buyer determine if they need it for parts or want to go for a repair $450.00 US markokane@earthlink.net

Erwin, The first time I met Jack was at a Jazz club in downtown LA. After my wife and I got a seat I scanned the room to see if there was anyone there I knew - there was "Ted" sitting by himself in a booth! What the hell!! He didn't tell me he was going to be in town. I walked over and just stood there staring at him, waiting for the usual Ted reaction. Instead, he looked up at me with a total lack of recognition and turned away with the look of someone who thinks he is about to be mugged. " You are not Ted, You must be Jack" He looked up at me and said " You have got to be Mark O'Kane". God knows how Ted described me to him. We had a great evening. I will contact you for that number this weekend if you don't mind.

Good to hear from you. I will try to locate Jack. I don't have a copy either. I would like to get one before it is "lost".

Ted talked about what it was like being at Woodstock when we were hanging out once. Miss that guy. I always wonder if things might have gone differently If I was just in the right place at the right time.Life doesn't work that way. He really put the word "class" into Steadicam. Has anyone talked to his brother Jack lately?

Does anybody have a spare of the plate that connects the socket block to the verticle spar of a 3A suit ? I don't need the socket block - just the plate with the dovetail hardware. Thanks Mark O'Kane markokane@earthlink.net
