  1. As we all know there is a trigger for Migraine. it doesnt pop up randomly, there is always something that triggers it. either by something u do or eat. Ive suffered Migraine for 5 years from my previous job which was editing. the doctor gave me a form. let me take a note whenever the pain comes. and let me analyze why it happened. so i quickly found it was the computer work I do. so I stopped. As soon as I switched my career to camera operator I am free of that shit. now its been 4 years, nothing, no pain. hope it helps.
  2. there is a reset button. To perform a factor reset, hold the left button down, and power on the monitor. Keep the left button pressed through the whole boot process until the image comes up. (about 2-3 seconds after the Cinetronic Logo)
  3. https://youtu.be/FIRHnGg6Ewk?list=PL_TTAwYZxQyG6QumBIgHXy1JbbFQtH-eN i believe this is gonna help u a lot
  4. selling my PRO long handle. excellent condition (i wrapped it for better grip when using) $750 USD shipping included. plus paypal fee PM me or email steadipanda@gmail.com cheers
  5. it can pull the camera from outside the window to interior without the use of movi etc. or it can go underneath the table or car then up to reveal whatever. its better than AR cuz from feet to head straight tracking you dont have to go to the side and come back. more or less like Larry Mcconkey's hybrid combination of steadicam and movi, except trinity doesn't have the 16lbs weight limit like movi. so it carries pretty much majority of the cameras. I assume the best use is you dont have to have a superpost to achieve certain shots. and you hands is always in good position. btw, panning speed is great. but still, to me its like a cool addon, not essential. more like a rental item. my 2 cents. cheers
  6. Hi Guys Ive been scouting for a good condition short pro gimbal handle. send me pictures with price, we will go from there. also Ive heard the XCS regular handle is about the same short length? correct me if im wrong but if it is, i can buy that too. I am located in Vancouver, Canada. cheers
  7. as long as the post house is still ripping the productions off. we are still in the game. sometimes 10 takes is cheaper than fix it in post. thats what i feel
  8. looking for regular ibaird. PM me if you have one laying around. cheers
  9. well this product is intended for maximum arm performance (at mid point), and it enables you to have this performance at all boom range. if I am correct for example if you are shooting at high mode, booming down to approximatly 15% left to the bottom of your arm, then the arm performs less ideally compare to it at midpoint (resting position) this swivel solves this issue by adding a post inbetween 2 arm sections, and offset one section. so at same camera height , you still have maximum arm performance (shock absorbing).
  10. barely used, includes a mount to pro sleds like cine/live (screws are included). and a cable that attaches to the monitor asking for $750 USD (brand new was $1250)
  11. I am looking for simultaneous anton bauer 2722 charger please PM the price or send email to shawnvfx@gmail.com cheers.
  12. well I am quite new (2.5 years in steadi op) as my experience may differ from ops who are more experienced. usually on set I face 2 situations, either the director comes to me or the DP. when DP comes to me it usually is a simple shot(compare to when Director comes), and usually is walk n talk , making sure headroom etc. when Director comes to me, he usually will walk the shot with me and describe what he wants, I will comment / contribute based on his idea and suggest options. They all open to my ideas and contributions, cuz for Me if I don't quite understand the shot, my hesitation shows in my framing, and as a result nobody is gonna like it. cheers
  13. Every shot requires missionary to don Juan (Goofy side which I did not prepare with) sprint 350 meters then head into a tiny tunnel and climb stairs, then running downstairs and a full stop in a corner. and each time I had that dream, it begins at take 10, which Im already exhausted. whole crew just can't stop laughing at my clown moves.... forgot to say it was low mode and my right hand was holding the battery rack....
  14. Ived personally tried it too. even though not for long, but it performs better than redrock at a cheaper price, i gave it a thumbs up and its good that it got rig of the receiver by integrating it into the motor. and its not so bulky at all
  15. I agree with you all. here is another example of mine Black magic is in the same market as Atomos, but last time my $295 dollar HDMI to SDI convertor was broken Atomos immediately send me a return shipping label and replaced me a new one (I only sent back the unit itself, but Atomos sent me a brand new in box with another set of accessories). yeah, true that there is no point for repair for a $295 worth of toy, but Atomos did this customer service in a complete different manner than BM. I even have a friend who owns Ninja 2, it got beat up in a year and Atomos replaced the unit with no cost. so eventho these toys gets replaced once every 2 years and there is no way to upgrade them, but at least Atomos did prove BM service is in the toilet.
  16. thumbs up for Alan, quality product and reasonable price. Love his Cine/live to 4 P-tap, and those Small budget cables (P tap to 5D, DC, etc) and also Dave Hable in Vancouver is amazing too. he made my Cine/live to Red cable, and also Cine/live to Gen2 cable. they are my only cable sources.
  17. last time I sent a defect back, and said please repair and I need to order a new cable they sent me back the unit, and sent cable seperately and let me pay that shipping for the cable. I still don't understand it till this day. why didn't you put in the same box, a cable weights nothing ! Their customer service is great, but the communications in between departments is really bad.
  18. they prefer little to no experience when attending workshop, that way you have no pre-existing bad routines or knowledge to frustrate you in the workshop. for example, finger above gimbal, tea party hand, etc..
