  1. Hey y'all, Anybody know where I could get the tiniest LED bulb assembly, batt-powerred (like a watch batt) with a push-button/switch activation and with a timed 'off' function akin to one on the newest O'Connor heads. Trying to rig a backlight for an internal spirit level on my top stage. Thx

  6. For sale: Blackmagic Video Assist Recording Monitor Gallery link below https://goo.gl/photos/dttUYuvXywidauWh6 -1920 x 1080 Touchscreen LCD -Records 1080p up to 60 fps -10 Bit, 4:2:2 ProRes & DNxHD Encoding -HDMI and 6G-SDI Video Inputs -Box, Manual, software *DaVinci Resolve* -Custom 12" D-Tap pwr cbl -Custom 12" Mini Din to female BNC cbl -Custom 36" Mini Din to female BNC cbl *Currently snaked together in webbing as a clean input/output cable but can be easily separated. Monitor functions splendidly but most of what I work on involves signing iron-clad NDA's so I can't record footage. It's been used three times. It also mates perfectly with Media Blackout's Intersex Plate as seen in the gallery. I would just slap it onto one of the battery mounts on my sled. NOTE: PLATE NOT INCLUDED. Unit's so new it still has the protective plastic on the screen. Time to let this baby go. Sells new *no cables* for $495 usd. With custom cables will sell for $435 usd. Will ship at buyer's expense. Ships from Toronto. PM or email me alankellycamera@gmail.com Thx
  7. Hi Damien, I also own a G70 and experience the same issue. I use a custom collar I had made that allow me to use my Pro posts. Through it I am able to get some rotation but not as much as I'd like or as much as a Titan would provide. I even resorted to using the absolute smallest amount of viscous lubricant (coconut oil) on the underside of the collar on my post but I hate doing that. Bad precedent to set. Funny enough whenever I've used a 3A with it's simple upper block the post always spun pretty free. This whole issue is exacerbated by the drag controls on the G70 post dock. Works great with the native Tiffen post system but not so much when using any adaptors.

  13. I missed the ticker on this one. Was Scott or any of the camera crew in there?
  14. Thinking about the unbelievable situation in Flint, Michigan. To save a few thousand -a few thousand bucks! they switched the public drinking water source. The public is outraged and shocked, as they should be, at the poor lack of judgment, total disregard for human safety and greed but we know this mentality all too well don't we? The public works officials/Governor are getting crucified in the press....and then there's our version who sometimes get a bonus at wrap and then another gig.
  15. Those movies shot up here in Toronto for years without incident.
  16. By now some of you may have heard about a stuntwomen on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter who drove into a 'camera arm' that failed to move out of the way. She's losing her arm because of it. Not much info on the details but wondering if anyone knows anything beyond camera arm as that's all that keeps getting repeated. Crane, Ultimate Arm, etc. -lots of arms out there.
