Will there be a waveform on this monitor? That would be perfect when shooting my own stuff.....

I choose to keep one battery on top. I only had one in the bottom to power the monitor and focus. Roger

Hi! Is your question what is the most affordable sled to run the sony f3? Depends on what kind of setup you want. Aja pro mini, lenses ect. You can probably run it fine with the Zephyr rig or flyer if you are on a lower budged. I have used it on my mk-v nexus rig with aja pro mini and idx wireless on the camera and that was quit a light setup. Roger

Do not use the holes on the handle! It doesn´t last! I would´t even use it for a monitorarm.Thats why I bought the Berkey system plate. Its great! Roger

The arri plate is nice. Can recommend it! Also used the cat griller from baer-bel for the first time. From steadi to tripod goes very smooth! We shot on codex the two first weeks, then cards and the cable was gone.......!!!! Roger

Hi! I am using the new Arri Alexa these days on my Mk-V Nexus sled. When using onboard batteries on the camera it runs on 12v. But when using external power from the sled you will be using the regular Arri 24v plug. When doing so thru my sled it said about 13,5 volt in the display not 24v or more, Everything was working, but, the voltage display kept blinking 13,5v. I know this camera can run on both 12v and 24v, but can run on 12v this way? The camera assistant got worried and called the rental house because it was blinking and they said we couldn´t run it like that or they didn´t really know. I have not called Arri yet about this. So for now I am stuck with on board batteries. Anyone? Best Roger Haugen

Hi Sean! We are using a set of cooke panchro. Today it was -6 C and we didn´t have any problems. But we are shooting two cameras SI 2K with cables. And we have had so many problems with this setup in the cold. Working with computers outside in snow, cameras suddenly not working, then starts working again without knowing why. Not to be recommended. Max: Is that Optica Elite you are using on the Red? How do you like them? Hard to find a good review on those lenses. Roger

They work, but gets blurry and strobe. At -20 c I find them useless. Roger

Hi! Working on a feature these days, not steadicam, but using a preston wireless system. We have been having some problems working with it outside in minus degrees. The motor have been slow and not able to drive the lens. I have also experienced this in cold situations with my own bartech, Heden motor unit. This time we could just use the regular arri follow focus, bit If I had been there with steadicam we would not have been able to shoot. (Its been - 10 to -20 celsius by the way) Any comments on this issue? Roger
