  1. What about Prosumer? Is it available? :D
  2. Hi! I did a one take 4 min music video. I felt that was quite hard. Its not only the camera, there are so many factors that needs to be precise. We also had problems with the Red camera. It stopped after 2 min of recording a few times. Don´t really know what the problem was. I would rather go for a 17-35 zoom if you are planning on using the zoom. The film "Russian ark" is done in one take. It was later known for being a one shot film, not for the film it self. Personally I don´t see why a film needs to be shot in one take. The audience don´t care and they probably will get board because of all the compromises you need to do just to get thru it. Why not split it up in to a few more shots. Just my opinion. But good luck if you go for it!
  3. Yes, indeed, why to reject used. There are guys with old and only slightly modified EFPs who are doing miracles (Eurovision etc.).. Josip Agree, for your use I would check out baer-bel or betz. Both top rigs and close to where you live.
  4. I think we need some more info to go on before we pick up the phone. Tell us some more about this system! Roger

  7. Hi! Yes Tiffen gimbals size. Its for mk-v sled, they have drilled the gimbal to fit tiffen. Do you have one? Otherwise I just spoke to tiffen uk, they might work it out. Roger
  8. Hi! You will always get very personal answers when asking these questions. I went to a tiffen workshop once where they listed up every rig out there as non good, except their own. And all the new hopeful operators nodded without asking questions. My tip is to spend a lot of time investigating what rig you want to buy. There are several good options, but sometimes you will not know what is working best for you before you get enough experience. But usually people fall in love with the gear they own their self. Roger
  9. But when you say scam, what´s in it for these people? I don´t get it? Roger
  10. Yes I know what you mean. Did a shoot last weekend. 4 min non stop. 2 min into the shoot I struggled with the wind, on every take. I think gyros would be helpful in these situations. If would sum up the times you really needed it and then it will speak for it self!
  11. Gyro, yes please! But will put my money elsewhere first. Anyone tried a windshield like this? Does´t do much when the wind comes in the front...but. http://www.betz-tools.com/sunbounce_windkiller.php# Roger
