  1. Hi James, Would you sell the arm separately? If so, how much would you sell it for? Thanks! Koji Scott
  2. Hey Luke, I own a KS-2 and KS-6 Gyro and they work amazing with the Volt! I almost always use them in windy situations. Add that with a pair of wind killers blocking the wind, and it will make it so much easier to stabilize the pan axis. I can guarantee you wont regret the investment if you have the leeway. I have a post mount and a battery plate mount both Anton and Vmount. Personally, Ive only mounted on the lower part of my sled post so far and never used the battery plate mount. I do hear that the further away from the CG is better. The only drawback is since there is more inertia, it can make it difficult in situations where actors make sudden unexpected movement and you have to respond quickly. But if you practice enough, usually you get the hang of how much strength you need to put in. I think the only time you'll need the 3 axis is if you're fighting a hurricane like wind now that we have the Volt. haha Hope this helps. Koji

  7. Hi community, I wanted to ask all Steadicam/camera operators in the world about our ever evolving industry. with the world of art and entertainment seeming to shift it’s way towards the world of NFTs (Non-fungible tokens), I am very curious to hear everyone’s opinion on how the film industry and professional Steadicam/camera operators will try and use NFTs, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology as a form of payment in the future? I know to some, I may sound very strange especially for those who don’t know what an NFT may be but a part of me can’t help but think that this will affect our line of work and the way we do business. (If you don’t know what an NFT is please do some research online, this technology is changing the way artists make revenue in ways we have never imagined possible) here’s a good article I found on nofilnschool https://nofilmschool.com/hollywood-nft-blockchain-uses I myself have so much more to learn about NFTs and blockchain technology as it is still in its early adoption stage but it seems like the futures way for artists in all shapes and forms to be able to have they’re name permanently on their art (for us I guess will be the Steadicam shots we produce?) and even make royalty over the years to come. I’m curious if our line of work will adapt to this. please let me know your thoughts! thank you!
