  1. M-1 is obviously longer and probably heavier than Pro cinelive. Which is a big deal. I do my best to keep my rig as short as possible (mainly adding dead weight on the battery rack part of the sled). This may sound dumb... I know :-) But I like my tilthead, I like my telescopic center post, I like adding inertia on my sled by extending battery rack, ect... Many things that are not so easy to achieve with a Pro, in my opinion. Plus, we all get used to work with our rig, we know how to make it work the way we like. Long story short: I would love to come on set with a Pro beside my M1.
  2. I fly M-1 on a Pro arm. I've flown G-70 for years too, and it's a great piece of gear. For some reason I ended up with a Titan, and I'm happy with it. This combo I like a lot. M-1 is very easy to set up, and I use and love many of its features. As everybody keeps saying, you got to give it a try... and make your own opinion.
  3. Hi all! My next job will fly a Sony Venice. I looking for infos or thought from ops would have already flown it! Balance, weight, Power, ... Thanks
  4. Brand new/ never opened. For sale in France (shipping price :-/ ) 50€
  5. I shot a few sequences on a TV show last month with handheld wave1. Mounted directly on my Betz Shoulder set, added a Starlight clamped on the Alexa. Raises the camera level noticeabily! But no big deal. Pans are pretty clean :-) and allows fast moves. Anyway, director didn't feel comfortable with this kind of framing. It's very different than what we're used to, you've got that "organic feeling" but with an almost perfect level... Don't know how to deal with that, how to use it in an academical way of telling stories with a camera.
  6. Looking to buy Aladin 1 batteries. Paypal or bank transfer. Got my fedex account for pick up. Thanks

  8. Hi! This problem has been debated in other forum, go check in "operating" sled, or use the search motor. Give more infos on your setup too. This kind of vibration usually occurs with sandwiched setup ;-) Too many plates between top stage and camera body!
  9. Thanks Guys! I own an Ultra 2 for years now, tilt head is an important tool for me!
  10. Interested about what are the good and bad reviews about the almost 3 years old on the market M1. Share please!
  11. I changed my Nosebox and remote electronically circuits 6 months ago. 2000€... Check everything before trying to get a new one ;-)
  12. I guess you checked directions buttons on the nosebox?
  13. ok, thank you all for your help! I've already sent an email to jack. Maybe it was just unusual that my arm was not jiggling when coming out of factory. I appreciate a lot the help from this community. You rock guys! Thanks
  14. then I wonder why are they not jiggling when coming out of factory?
  15. Not while under load. But before this first cleaning they were not jiggling at all, even off load.
  16. Hi all, I bought a brand new Titan Arm last summer. After 10 weeks shooting in Morocco, it needed to be cleaned up. When I built it back after cleaning, and screwed each canister in his bone, I've seen some trouble with 2 of them. On both higher and lower section of the arm, the upper canisters are jiggling. Before that, they always had been stucked in place, no jiggling. Of course I've tried different canister in different arm section. It's always the upper canister that is moving. I can't find a way to fix this. Any idea's welcome! Thanks!
  17. Thank you very much guys!!!!! This really helps! I've sent Michelle an email. Really nice from you! Damien
  18. Hi all, I'm on my pro forma invoice, kind of in a hurry, and I hardly can't find my titan arm serial number...? Neither on the invoice, nor on the arm itself. I know I'll look dumb at your first answer guys ;-)
  19. Very interesting! Thanks for sharing your experience.
  20. G-70 for sale. In a very good shape. Went on a little trip to Steadicam London last winter. They changed the arm post barrel, fixed the arm to vest connector and checked everything (and I checked them like 1000$ ;-) Sold with original rain covers, bag, and a brand new low-mode bracket I bought a few month ago (another 500$) Asking 11000$ Located in Paris, France. Buyer pays shipping.
  21. Hi, I own a G-70. I've worked a lot with Titan. I usually fly typical Alexa setup on my Ultra2. When operating with Titan arms, my arm post can rotate totally freely if I unscrew the locker. Whereas, with G-70, it looks like I can't get it as smooth and free. My G70 forearm always want to go in the same line as the handle. To do so, it litteraly pulls the armpost away from my body (hope my english is good enough so that you guys can get what I mean ;-) Besides, with the G-70x, this doesn't seem so accurate, and it feels way better than the G-70. I love to work with a totally free post, the sled feels way easier to move around, with a light pull in I can see my monitor,... As any of you ever noticed this move in the Tiffen arms? Is there a way to avoid this?
