Well, I did make a totaly differant arm with the original ActionCam single action arm. That was a great low-cost heavie-load arm but lacked several advantages of a conventional steadicam-arm-designe.

Two years ago I posted that i was working on a new dual-arm design - Looks like the right time to introduce the ActionProducts Zero-G arm!

The first batch is now in production and avalible round end of march. Price not set yet, not cheap, but a little lower than the leading brands (thanks to the new design that reduces parts by 20%

    Whats new?

    -no wires

-uses array of small cost effective springs for spring-package

-great force-curve (feals very compatable to the leading brands)

-loads from 0-80lbs (0-38kg) More if required

-all cridical joints with radial (sealed or caped) ballbearings

    -jib round 30" (80cm)

-general size comparable to IIIa but longer bones

-weight round 13lbs (6kg) fully loaded spring packages

    -changing spring-packages in approx. 10min
