  1. I bought this Zephyr from another steadicam forum member. It has worked out great. A custom monitor yoke and the grip were added. Both are removable. The OE tiffen monitor mount hardware is included. I never had any issues with the arm, sled, or vest while operating. All components in the kit are in great working condition. No missing parts. Items have typical signs of use. Mainly seen on the vest and a few nicks on the outside of the arm. It has been carefully looked after by myself as it was by the original owner. It is time to make some space and find this system a new home. I am asking $5000.00 on the complete system: (sled, arm, vest, one dovetail, docking bracket, removable weights, low mode bracket, and thermodyne case) These system extensions are available to add individually when purchasing the zephyr. PM interest about which pieces and I will get you a total price. (4) steadicube V-mount batteries(all batteries charge fully) with Dual charger Second V-mount battery hanger Extra Zephyr Dovetail Vehicle mount w/Zephyr socket block Once the kit sells I will relist the remaining items. Pricing is reflective for a quick sale. The condition is really stellar considering the price. 2. You might be able to mount fatbike 26"(+ size)tires on those 26" rims from northern tool. That might give you the volume and float you're after. Measure the inside rim width when looking at tires. The higher the volume the lower the pressure you can run. As an example fatbike tires around 4" diameter can go as low as 5psi which provide substantial float for sand, snow, or mud. There will be an added suspension benefits as the tire deflects bumps better with higher tire volume.

  4. Great post here. This operator seems to have plotted and maintained a course through a cheerleading routine. The gal in the front of the vee who steps forward might be the group leader. While the window for saftey is always changing, the saftey of others should remain consistent. Machines can already move cameras. AI can simplify the instructions to the machine. But, human operators might having some long term staying power if they can deliver the shots with a better saftey record then machines. Any tips, red flags or golden rules other operators can share to maintain saftey for themselves and others while moving with a shot?

  6. I haven't seen any india mounts like this. I'm not sure what qualifies. But, I've been using this setup out of a minivan. Flys out either sliding door and the rear gate with minimal setup/rigging. The system is speedrail and mitchell based so it can be used in smaller configurations on other vehicles. The eyelets on the two bases makes tie-downs a breeze.
