Haha I'm sure most things will be. Would a macro focusing slider work instead?

Its a S60. I recently got it cheap off of ebay as a way to start into the steadicam world.

Does anyone know of a bidirectional fine adjustment plate for the head of a steadicam? The one I ordered and am using does not have one for fine tuning. It does have the capacity to adjust forward and back and side to side, but it is very difficult to make small increments. Would using a macro focusing slider be any help?
