  1. Those prices seem right as far as IKAN and BON. What's great when I went in last week was, I got a 20% August discount because supposedly BON is coming out with some new products in September at the IBC. Quite worth it, IMO.
  2. A big thanks to Michael for the help. This monitor is working great and pleased with the customer service. Will do business again soon and I'll mention you guys to my production buddies!
  3. I'm located in Los Angeles. Where can I find you? Being honest, I was thinking of just going with IKAN but if you're close by, a visit wouldn't hurt. Also, I'm big on customer service. I don't want to have to spend 2-3k of my own money on a monitor just to come to a dead-end when it comes to needing help if my monitor is having issues, or if i'm unhappy with it.
  4. I think I'm ready to make my decision. One more thing Lars, how long ago was this? (The service, etc from Bon)
  5. Has anyone dealt with repairs? or know which company has good customer service?
  6. Thanks Walt! Have you compared/tested any other Bon monitors with IKAN? Hows the monitor working for you? (weight, problems? etc)
  7. Awesome. Hey Lars, Have you tried testing the MD7 from IKAN? It looks friggin identical to the BON 073SCH. I'm looking to see if a local store carries either or both. Perhaps you know the differences already? Cheers. Also, have you tried TVLogics?
  8. Currently shooting a few indies right now and was looking into buying an on-board/field monitor for myself. I would preferably want to go with something that gives good light outside, so i'm assuming i'll need something with a good amount of nits. I've heard TVLogic carries a sun bright monitor, but haven't checked one out before. Anyone have experience with this? Also, has anyone heard of Bon monitors? I hear they carry outdoor monitors as well? Thanks!
