  1. I have already drilled holes at the side to install full BNC connectors. Problem is that the BNC connector seems to use the panel as ground. Thus the signal is using the Shuttle body as gnd. If I connect the gnd of the PCB to the body, that means the power, signals etc, are essentially exposed to outside interference If I touch the body, static, etc. Not sure how to resolve this. Ths BNC connector seems rather primitive in this sense.
  2. Can anyone mention the type of cable used for soldering to the board, and then to the full size BNC connector at the rear ? I used some cable I had lying around, and I get glitches. I do not have access to RG179 cable in Australia, but lots of 50ohm networking cable, both single core and multi strand. Would that work ? Also, what ground did you use ? With the screw touching the BMD body, the BMD body is essentially ground, and both the SDI in and out share that ground. That could be a problem..
