The springs are dark grey and have what look like very light reddish paint on them. I would assume that this is the Standard 3A Arm Springs 37 - 57 lb. weight capacity. The Arm looks to be all original and unmodified. It also has very few dents or scratches on it.

Does anyone have a 1.5" Docking Ring that they would be willing to part with ? This is for a Provid sled and docking bracket.

Hi Emily, I like the option that Beau suggested. It is going to put the center of gravity of the camera relatively high which could be an issue when balancing but I think it will work fine.

Thanks Guys. :) I've sent an email to Tiffen requesting an order for the Part # 601-7412 Dovetail. There is alot of excellent information and advise from members here on the forum. I'm sure I'm going to have more questions while I'm getting this rig up and running.

Hello Everybody, I am in need of a Dovetail Plate for my Provid. From what I understand after reading some of the posts here in the forum is that the old style 3A/EFP dovetail plate will fit a Provid. Is this correct ? Which Steadicam models use the same dovetail plate as the Provid ? I would like to purchase one from a US dealer that may have it in stock so I could get it relatively quickly. Any Suggestions ? or If anyone has a spare they would be willing to part with please let me know.

I'm looking for a Dovetail Plate for the top stage of my ProVid Sled. I just recently purchased it and it did not come with one. The top stage is in good shape with the lock-down wedge and screw... just no dovetail plate. The Video SK sled looks very similar to the ProVid sled so a Video SK plate may work.
