I asked Markus of baer-bel directly and he confirmed that it will fit perfect but the V-mount system for the Alexa has to be ordered as special accessory at the camera rental. It's not a standard set up. Cheers, jens

Hi Job, I have both motors + the BFD and can definitely say that the M28VP is much stronger and should be able to handle stiffer primes. Cheers, jens

I worked there too and indeed , the colleague managed to jump off the handsfree so that he didn't crash neither steadi nor camera. Actually he was blocked by spectators and press so that he couldn't pass. Fly safe and 'jump' if it is necessary. :rolleyes: jens

Hi Peter, danke der Nachfrage, mir geht's ganz gut. Dir anscheinend auch, das freut mich. Die camera plate passt glaube ich nicht auf Deine dovetail, da Du keine inch-Bohrungen hast. Diese Platte ist als Adapterplatte für eine Tiffen dovetailplate gedacht. Schöne Grüße nach München und irgendwann auch mal persönlich. jens

Hi Matt, I think you have to admit that it is funny but don't take it too serious. The guys in this forum a very nice. Actually I just talked to an colleague today and he told me that he ordered a steadi system from India several years ago because he wanted do some private stuff with his DV camera and said that he was positively surprised what he received for 1000,- US$. The system is called flycam 6000 and build in India, I can't tell about the quality and everything else. If you google it, you come to the site www. tradeboss.com and there they sell it for 1500,-US$. Maybe a try worth but I'd rather rent a real rig like an old EFP or something similar.
