Thank you Geoff very informative post. I've had problems in the past with the two little countersunk screws that hold the wedge guide in place. they have bent meaning the front plate slips it at least gives you a little warning things are not right . Ill check the area you mention right now and even consider the modification soon. BTW I always understood the wedge was titanium ? All best and thanks for sharing Joe

I wouldn't worry too much just make sure the others are nipped tight and replace the missing one when youre at a hardware store

Hi Jerry hope all good I use and sell the Mickey and it is indeed a useful tool, 1 If only to get a feel of what the various forces are doing and affecting things on the rig 2 I and others often have the monitor and batteries nearly coplanar so it is valid to get you in the ball park. 3 helps a lot to get the side to side elements in place not sure this is necessary for dynamic balance but its neater and looks good :) It helps me for sure Joe

Hi Mariano yep mine and still use it lots . Its very very good for basic walking shots very smooth and easy to maintain. Relatively light weight too BTW a client last year hired one of my smaller kits so as their West End theatre prop dept could make a light weight mock up for a paparazzi scene in the show and light enough for the actor to wear every night. BTW Best not to leave it switched on in that condition as it may burn the screen phosphors. Joe
