  5. I would be too Chuck. But from their website it looks like it is something better suited for a fixed installation (studio) environment and not so much a quick location setup but I could be wrong. To also respond to Alec about the ability to hear comtek audio on the HME's it is possible in several ways and I have done both. If you have a MB300 base station (most people don't but mine does) you can wire and audio feed into the basestation (e.g. take a comtek receiver and wire out of the headphone jack to the basestation). The other option is to do a similar thing and wire a comtek to an HME belt pack's mic input and then just cue the belt pack on anytime you want to hear that audio. Only drawback is that everyone hears it on their HME and it takes up one of the TX slots available so it can limit the ability of some people to duplex talk on the HME headsets. The third option is to have an audio person of a company like Comtronics make a custom splitter cable for a belt pack that would allow you to hear both feeds in your headset. I know my 1st AC uses a similar splitter on his walkie headset to hear the comtek audio.
  6. So my beloved Rocksteadigear soft sided vest case had its zipper fall apart on the inside. I think they are long out of business. Is that correct? Anyone have another source for such a case or a good option? Would prefer a soft case that I could also put my arm case in also. Thanks Stephen Consentino
  7. FOR SALE Cam-Jam Quattro Universal Monitor Arm with integrated yoke I am selling my Cam-Jam Quattro Universal Monitor Arm with integrated yoke. It is less one year old and looks brand new. It was on my rig that I just sold and my new rig already had one on it so I don’t need this. The Cam-Jam Quattro Universal Monitor Arm is without a doubt the best monitor arm I have ever used. It is rock solid, light-weight and completely vibration free thanks to it’s four point mounting system. It allows you to infinitely adjust your monitor position and instantly go from high to low mode positions all with no change in balance. You can use the arm with almost any monitor from Small HD, Transvideo, Boland, Odyssey, Ikan, Cinetronics, Nebtek or Marshall with the addition of a monitor mount from Cam-Jam (not included here - cost is $50-$100 depending on model). I also have (for an additional $50) an Universal Adapter for backup monitors that allows all monitors with a 1/4”-20 threaded hole on the bottom to be mounted to the Quattro Monitor Arm, not using the yoke. With it’s 2” diameter clamping ring, you can mount the Quattro Arm on most any stage of any Steadicam rig as custom adapter rings are available for any post diameter (I am including one 1.5” and one 1.9” adapter rings). For more info see the Cam-Jam website at: https://shop.cam-jam.de/product/quattro2-monitor-arm-with-yoke/ The price new is 1,230.00 € (about $1,450 US) with the two adapter rings. I am asking $1,100.00 If you are interested PLEASE EMAIL ME DIRECTLY do not post questions here, I don’t check it often enough. Direct emails will get very quick responses.
