  1. I’ve noticed over the past few weeks a clicking coming from my rig while balancing. I have sourced it to the gimbal and seen a small gap about 1mm appear when in normal mode. If I swing it round to low mode there is a big click in the gimbal and the gap moves to the top (now bottom in low mode) gimbal. Is this normal? Any ideas how to secure it? Is looks like some fixings in the gimbal have come slightly loose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Sorry, I might have got confused when I said "SO XLR". I have a v-lock dummy plate that has a 12v 4 pin xlr on it. I have soldered an extra cable inside the plate to go from pin 3 of the XLR to the middle pin of the V-lock plate. From the sled I have a cable to go from 3pin Lemo to 4pin XLR 24v with pin 1 ground and pin 3 24v. I've tested it with a multimeter the and the output of the v-lock plate is the same as a 24v v-lock battery. I've not tested it on an Alexa yet though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm working with an Alexa tomorrow. I've just made a cable to go from the Shadow sled 24v wired to a So XLR with pin 3 in the So XLR getting the 24V and ground staying on pin 1. What are people's thoughts whether this will be ok??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. A bit late to this party, however.... after 3 hours of searching the internet for this exact piece of information, I have managed to make up a 24v So- XLR plate from the rig. Going to do some final tests tomorrow however the theory is there! Thanks for this info Chris! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks Jens. I spoke to Transvideo and they told me how to reset the monitor. Although as is the way, when I switched it all back on the bubble was back to normal. I did do a reset on it though and it seems to be holding. Transvideo said to press and hold the "Adjust" button while switching the unit on. It goes through a quick reset and then all seemed fine. 6. The electronic bubble in my Cine 8 Transvideo loses its calibration every time I switch the rig off. Is there a battery inside the monitor which needs replacing? Thanks for your help, Allan
  7. Hi, I am looking for a Sony V-Mount Plate fit to a Shadow? I have seen cam-tec one and wondering if anyone has one for sale? Thanks very much. Allan
