I've been reading this forum for the last while and find it fantastic. I'm a Lighting Cameraman based in Ireland and I've recently invested in an SK 2 and I use it with my Digi-Beta 709. I've got a lot of use out of it and find I'm taking on more challenging jobs. Anyway I've been asked to do an OB shoot in the next few weeks for a kids morning show using the dreaded triax and am looking for some advice on how to run the cable. I did an OB shoot last year but the cable seriously interfered with the balance. I was using BNC cable with a break to triax on my vest which should have worked pretty well but I obviously ha it cabled arse ways. I know there are many different views on this topic but if anyone is familiar with the SK2 they might have a different slant on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
