In the shortest mode, the rig from top of Donkey Box to the bottom of the battery Box is only 33 inches long. 2. When the rig is fully extended its 78 inches long. 3. I never had any problems powering any cameras. I put this rig together 6 years ago bought all the parts new, I believe I put together a great rig. Having the integrated super post will give you an advantage over the other OP that don’t own a super post, which means more jobs. Its much faster than having to change your rig over if you own a super post. In low mode you will be able to scrap the ground. When getting called from producers or Dp’s I always get asked, “ How low can you go in low mode” Jerry - Rig This is a highly refined approach to my needs of operating. The first objective was to build something reliable. Second was for it to withstand the hardships of location shooting. Third, fast and easy to setup. I picked Anton Bauer batteries because you can find them anywhere in the world, and there is a wide choice of batteries and chargers. The thinking behind the design of the “Jerry-Rig” was to have a sled that was convertible to the camera you are flying. Meaning that if you are flying a video camera and it is not very heavy then you should be able to use one battery for the power and weight savings. If you would like to run two you can. This is also true for the heavy film cameras. One for 12 volt and two for 24 volt. You can also mix and match the batteries. "Update your 3-A or EFP sled." Steady-Rig Silver Spring Arm for sale- $7500.00 OBO. This arm is about 6 years old and I am the first owner. This arm has never been on a long TV show or feature. I mostly work on commericals. There have been times that this arm has sat in storage for 6-8 months. So basically it has not been over worked or abused. The arm has minimal amount of corrosion only 2 of the turnnions have a bit of corrosion, the others have none. See picture. The first year I had the arm I was working on a short and was suppose to go through a door way and hit the door way and put a small dent and scratch in one of the arm covers. The arm itself was not damaged just a small dent, see picture. If the purchaser wanted to replace the arm cover they could buy one from Steadyrig. In my opinion it would be a waste of time and money and thats why I didnt replace it. 1. Weaver Steaman Head - $2700.00 OBO. This head brand new was over $10,000.00. I have own this head for 7 years and bought it from a DP who bought it new. This head has only been on my jobs it has never been at a rental house. This is probably the most pristine Weaver you will ever see. It comes with all the original parts and is in perfect working order. It also come with a case, one of the latches twists all the way around, I just throw some tape on the outside of the latch and its fine, other wise its a cheap easy fix. 2. Custom Tri hat - $375 OBO. I purchased this tri hat a few years ago, its in perfect working order, just has some cosmetic problems ( paint chipping and new welds) Cardellini sells one for $825. I think this one is better since their are less moving parts and it much faster to set the shot. Its a must have for car jobs. 3. Im selling 4 Anton Bauer Proformer batteries that were recalled 1.5 years ago and have very little use. The batts have always been on the interactive Anton Bauer charger. They were recelled by John Ritter in Florida, he does an amazing job, I believe he uses cells that have more power than when they were bought new. I have not used them since I usually fly a heavy camera and need to use heavy batts. The batteries cases are in perfect condition. Anton Bauer doesn't sell these batts anymore. These would be great for a smaller sleds or full size sled. They weigh 1 Pound 10 oz. I just did a 24 hour test on the batts. The result of the tests 1. 16.1 Volts and 1.3 Amp Hours 2. 15.9 Volts and .9 Amp Hours 3. 15.6 Volts and 1.1 Amp Hours 4. 14.7 Volts and .8 Amp Hours I would like to sell all 4 to one person. $80 Each = $320 and you pay Shipping.
