I'm curious if anyone has some wisdom around using gyros with their volt. Shooting on the beach last week in heavy wind without gyros got me thinking...

I've been considering purchasing a set of gyros for a while, especially before the volt. Now that I'm flying a volt, I haven't run into many situations where I need gyros. After last week, I'm considering adding a pair of KS-4's to my kit just to throw on when I need a bit more inertia.

How is everyone using gyros with their volts? Are you mounting them differently than before? Is there still a need for 3 axis gyros? Would love to know what's working before I think about purchasing anything. Cheers!

Steadicam Master Series Sled and Arm for sale. A lot of love has gone into this sled, but I'm upgrading to an M2 so I am passing it on to someone who's looking for a great beginner to intermediate level rig.

Top Stage was upgraded in June 2022 and brought this sled back to life. 12v/24v switchable, so it's ready for the Alexa 35, Venice 2, or any film cameras that require 24v. The new top stage is rock solid, with no vibration issues common in master series sleds. The old electronics were removed from the bottom K-section as well, dropping almost 4lbs of weight from the whole sled.

Master Arm is currently being serviced by Robert Luna for a clean bill of health. The 2 lower section elbow brackets were replaced in April.
