As an experienced TV guy (26 years in business) I'm producing my science reports by myself, using XDCAM/IMX (9 kg) and Sony's HDV as 2nd unit. Now, I'm looking for a stabilizer but I can't spend 15'000 Euros and more. Does anybody know whether it makes sense to go for Sachtler Artemis DV Pro? According the new Sachtler info flyer they raised the max. camera weight to 9.5 kg with the help of stronger springs, but they sell it as a stabilizer for DV/HDV. The possible alternative would be the Glidecam V-25. Any recommendations? Any experience with the Sachtler and heavier cameras? Would be very glad to get some hints...
