    The rainbow hd has a custom (adjustable) zoom function, yes The software is different for every monitor though.

    My Rainbow HD is the standard brightness version and I only use it for regular operating. Having said that, I like the AR coating on it and its brightness and contrast is sufficient. The high brightness version is 900 vs 450, should be plenty bright when used with a shade.

    Did the slate test yesterday on my set, confirmed the less than 1 frame (total) delay with Transvideo Rainbow HD and a 3! frame delay with the TVlogic on-board.

    every time you process the signal you'll lose time. depending on what the scaling is starting at 1920x1080 to 1280 by 800 and so on there has to be processing involved, so it depends on the speed of the hardware inside the monitor. The Alexa like every camera has 1 to 2 frame delay to begin with....

    The X is double the brightness (2000 nits) over the sbl. The AR coating will only improve things, ordered mine.....
